Seed Bank Alibongo

I just want to give AFN members another reason to consider using Alibongo if they are needing to order seeds that they cannot obtain from the AFN seed store.

When I ordered my WOS AKR's , they were out of breeder 3packs, so they asked if individual seeds from bulk were ok. I felt fine with that, they shipped them, I got them, etc.
Unfortunately, none of the WOS AKR's successfully germinated.
I emailed Alibongo on 5/5/12 concerning my experience. They were very prompt in their reply, expressing surprise that the seeds did not germinate properly, but also offering to take care of by shipping out a replacement asap!
I received an email confirming the shipment of the replacement on 5/11/12 and the seeds in a breeder pack arrived 5/21/12

With the initial order these guys had great communication & speedy shipping!
Resolving my issue with the defective seeds these guys had great communication & speedy shipping!

It is hard to ask for a better experience from a vendor!

They will definitely be the vendor of choice when I need something not in the AFN seed store.

I Ordered a bong and precooler from alibongo and it arrived to the US 7 days later the the inline in the bong was broke so i emailed them with a picture and no questions asked they shipped me a new one right out! 9 days later the new one arrived in perfect condition. I would definitely recommend ordering seeds or glass from alibongo! they have good prices and free shipping on seeds! :smokebuds:

Lol least they fixed their problems unlike a lot of seedbanks. Plus the breeder is responsible for the seeds germinating and the USPS is responsible for the broken bong, they packaged the bong really nice. Even with them having to ship me the bong twice I had my whole order in 2 weeks.
P.s. have fun telling the attitude your seeds didn't germ

No man - the Seller is responsible for the Breeder's seeds he sells.
When I buy faulty goods - I go back to the Shop - not the Manufacturer.
A good Seedbank ensures what they are selling have quality - as a good shop doesn't sell Chinese fakes.
Either that or put a "rider" at the top of the page to the effect that they have nothing to do with the quality of the goods they sell........................but they will replace it if it's no good.

I've only read this page of this thread and seen 2 probs - and I must agree with you - they seem to be great..........second time round.

PS. Have used Attitude twice no problem - but not a Market Survey. But reading the Attitude thread here, they do seem to solve problems........eventually.

All I know is most seedbanks don't offer replacements due to germ issues. I've only ordered seeds twice from Alibongo and all my seeds germed. And how would you expect the seed bank to know all their seed stock from all the different breeders was good and would germ? The quality of seed is on the breeder, that's why alot of people stick to known breeders to avoid issues. Attitudes one of the biggest seedbanks and they won't even discuss germ issues let alone replace seeds. IMO Alibongo is a great place to shop.

Yes and I dont want to argue with you. I wouldn't expect a Seedbank to test germ everything they are selling before marketing no. But I would expect them to withdraw bad batches immediately - perhaps that was the case here.
Let's hope Alibingo removed that Breeders stock from sale until seeds start germing - you would agree?
As for the Bong - either it wasn't packaged well enough to withstand USPS - or it was cracked when packaged - either way, quite right it was replaced.

On the germination thing. I see both sides.
1) Seedbank is selling seeds without knowing if they will germ - like selling cars that dont start - not good for business. Sorry, but they should know. Takes 2 days in tissue - is that really hard?

2) Purchaser has no idea how to germ seeds.

Now most of us know, seeds are cheap to grow - send the guy another pack - I do know a Company that just sent the third pack and included instructions for one guy. Honestly.

But the bigger they get - the less they care.
They'll take cheap gear and just sell it on.

And that's why you are right "known Breeders" is the key - not the Middle Man.

Most of the seedbanks are in countries that Seeds are legal yet germination is illegal and a one way ticket to a spell in the clink which would not be good for business
