I've been here since the start and been a mod twice. I quit over the vast expansion and surge of sponsors last time, but I don't think AFN has sold out. Web sites cost money to host and run, a lot of money once they become heavily used. All of the information here is free. FREE. You didn't have to drop a single dime to learn all that you did. No one got paid to make their write-ups and how-dos. You want a scientifically run study with controls, thousands of samples, ect? You fund it.
