Thank you all for the thoughts n prayers. So fr so good. T'was a long ride and my back sure feels it, but no sideys yet...

I clipped a piece and put the rootex gel to it and its under T15s 12/12. Prob should go longer until it gets established, but Im mainly interested in sex, so I think it should stay alive long enough to give me a peep show...Im 100% sure of the lineage because it was from the very first plant I harvested, JEM x DD. No other seeds around to accidently mix it up with. And to this day, Ive never had any pollen that wasn't auto. Hopefully, the light test will shed a lil light on the subject.

I had a question pop into my hat holder on the ride today... Is it possible for a male to "herm" into a female??

WARNING:

Do not use Google to find the answer to the above question!!!

I believe some one on AFN (ilovindica maybe?) had that happen. I assume it would be a very rare event as it does not help the breeding. So late in a plants life, that it's herming, it wouldn't have time to grow seeds. Turning to male late in flower, the pollen can fertilize it's self and get any other plant in the area.

Male that hermied due to lack of enough light.

My grow is a failure so far - out of 9 seeds got 7 males and the other 2 are still undetermined. I'll get new lights till the end of the month and will start over. Now I have PAKs, Thunders, Russians and Duurty Jacks (Duurty Dragon X Black Jack) in early seedlings stage and last night put for germination some Jems and Duurtys F2. Hoping to get at least 1 girl of each. I run out of smoke and last 2 weeks were a nightmare

Hey wiz, congrats for the granddaddy stuff bro

well my oldest Russian's leafs are getting coated with trichs and is getting a fruity smell when i put my nose right to it no color yet the magic in the 1 gal pot looks to have some color coming in :D

Here are the first shots of my new shared setup. The two from my kitchen window have responded v. well to some decent light and 3 of the 4 JEM/Whore seeds that were germed have popped so far, the other isn't far behind so at least I know my first attempt at pollenation was a success...

I'm not going to repot the small ones...they are nearly 5 weeks now and I don't want to waste resources if nothing comes of them. If they give anything at all it will be a bonus.
Quick question for you wiz...
as Whore is JEMxMississippi Mud, is pollenating a female JEM with Whore pollen considered a backcross? Just curious to know...
