New Grower AFN Communal Competition thread

Yeah, those purple sugar leaves are sweet, sweet, sweet!

i just fired up a bowl and the pj is starting to get a hashy taste
My JEM hasn't colored up. But, I'm glad I have the one I have. Your statement confirms it is what I'm thinking it is. The very first afghani I ever grew (1979) looked exactly like my JEM and when I harvested that stain, years ago, it tasted just like hash. It was an auto but not like today's. It would go into flower at about 90 days and bloom for 5 or 6 weeks after. We found out by accident. We normally planted in Feb or March (depending on the Farmer's almanac LOL). Heck, early in the summer these things start flowering! WooHoo. Of course, we immediately started another crop... first season with two harvests. :D

jd i went over to a friends house and he had a friend over so i packed a bowl handed it to the guy and he hit it and coughed his head off and so did my friend i laughed my ass off cause i warned them both and they thought i was bsing them

i packed a purp bowl for my hydro shop guy and he didn't believe it was an auto strain. i have only one joint worth rolled up and i am going to smoke it with my girl..... btw i have primed her before with just enough weed to get a slight buzz once so when she smokes this thing she will be RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEDDDDD :crying:

It has been difficult not to take a test nug off her but, it can't do anything but get better from here. :D

It Friday....HAPPY HOUR..all weekend.....Share one with Me.........:smokebuds:

Got some jobs to do..and a visit to the post office..back later...Hopefully.

Joe Dirt...Only My Hunch...and how I was taught to Read a cross
But..
Bailer and FD will tell you I have bugged them with this for years..

IMO..Only..
somewhere in the Original LowRyder line a Short Fast maturing Affy was added..

We found out by accident. We normally planted in Feb or March (depending on
the Farmer's almanac LOL). Heck, early in the summer these things start
flowering! WooHoo. Of course, we immediately started another crop... first
season with two harvests.

Probably...for That exact reason.

Gardeners are Taught to "Look" into a cross to try to Spot something that shouldn't be There..
coz we always assume that Breeders Lie...:D..why Should they tell you All their Secrets.

I saw the Short/fast affy in mine..but they were both Affy gene-pool..
then when I got my M8's WR..AK..etc..
the same Pheno was coming through in each cross.

It had to be coming from the LR base cross..rather than the added photo parent..

IMO..:wiz:

Also..the Shape of the JEM glandular trics..she Look as if she was Bred for Hash production.
She has an over-developed tric-head..and a very distinct Neck to her where you can see the tric head would detatch very easily..

So..you are spot on there too..:booya:

i packed a purp bowl for my hydro shop guy and he didn't believe it was an
auto strain.

Wiz buddy. One of my jems seem to be getting purple tipped calyxes. While the other jems calyxes are starting to turn a bright pinkish red from where the calyxes form their cluster. Lol. Basically opposite of the tips. Are my eyes deceiving me, or is this normally where these colors tend to start to show up?

jems and my duurtie dragon

i guess its time i post some legit photography in this thread... lol... i can stil sorta see the hint of color i mentioned on the two jems, but not as predominant as i thought it was. im guessing it was either the sweet tooth i was smoking on or the lighting i was looing at her under... regardless, all ladies are lookin good.. the jems calyxes are starting to swell from the duurtie dragon pollen i hit them up with... first time seed makeing, but i think i will get quite a few off them... we shall see!!!

enjoy the piks homies...
