Very..very unusual Stone..I grow the root-bound all the time in the multi-pots..
what happened..did the cocoa dry out..?

Yeah, I used to feed her 2 times a day and I had to leave her for 1 day and 24 hours later when I came back she was withered - coco was dried out. When I inspected the roots there was no room left for the coco - only roots - that's why she was drinking 2 even 3 times a day last days . Absolutely my mistake - I thought that if I fill the saucer with nute solution that it would be enough to keep her moist but...
Anyway, I was experimenting with different pot size and now I know that growing in small pots takes lots of care and constant control.

I wanted Dragon smoke for Christmas but it seems that my Duurtys need at least 2 more weeks

I found..the only way I can Normally get mold on JEM in My conditions is Ferting while the temps are Low..as in Outdoor winter Jan/Feb conditions.

thanks wiz, just sorry i didnt do her the justice she deseved:cry:. what happened, i think, was that it got really cold here so i put the lights back to 24/0 and stupidly i took to switching off the fans for periods. it got a bit humid in there at times. i now have the fans on constant and have a dimplex oil heater just outside the grow box on low all night. the grow envoirnment seems way better now. i also have another jem and cristal storm late in flowering,60 days, but they seem to be ok. i gave them a good checking earlier. so fingers crossed for them.

I think I got it under control. Lost 3 photos and a JEM. I just got done trimming them up, and to my surprise, I found 3 seeds in my JEM. She musta got down n duurtie w/ the DD before I pulled him out. So, although not a very unique cross, Ill be trying a JEM X DuurtieD cross. Both showed some nice pink/purple hues, so it should make for a good learning experience for me.

Luckily, my 2 big JEMs were unaffected. I gotta get some new pics up, I think I have a good chance of finishing that troll off!

Wiz buddy. Can't wait to get muh prize. Thanks for being kool with the color comp. Luckily I had just caught some... ironically, the color has faded back to green on the preflowers, and now my calyxes are looking almost black... . I love the color show I'm getting out of her. Bateyes, I crossed my colorless duurtie dude with my white woman jem... basically same cross as yours, minus the color aspect. can't wait to compare our differences. This is my first seed run, and I think I did real good. All my calyxes are SUPER previous it appears. Here is a pik I took of my duurtie d lady. She is beautiful. She is also the lady that won me the prize.. she is prolly about as tall as a party cup.

Looks just mike mine. Mine is taller and only have a couple branches, but looking down, its the same. I cant believe the trics on em. Going down the sucker leaves and onto the next set. Looks like theyve been rolled in sugar or glitter. I saw my JEMs for the first time under natural light, and I have WAAAY more color than I thought. The HPS must filter out purple, cuz when its on, I cant see much purple at all. Lights off and they are a beautiful purple. My DDs are purple, too. 1 much more than my other, but neither as purple as my 2 JEMS. Ill try to get them into so decent light to get a pic. I even amaze myself how sweet they look. Gotta give WIZ the props for that, tho. I think they are ready for a flush-out to get em ready for a headstand!
Have you planted any of the duurtie jems yet? I only got 3 seeds as I had to harvest early, but they look great. Gonna harden em pff a bit, freeze em, and get em going. It'd be cool to grow em at the same time. Be cool to see a full-size and a mini-me of the same age! Might make for a good thread...

Havent planted my duurtie jems yet, as they still have not been harvested. The jems that got pollinated are identical. Almost twin like. They qre both white and fairly short. Identicql bud structures and everything down to the smell. The duurtie dude gthat pollinated them showed no color. It was also very stretchy. Both jems and duurtie had no side branching at all. Hoping to get some med to tall single cola plants out of the seed. This will also be my second cross i hope to stabilize. For flavor, i will eventually be adding a bluberry strain into the cross. I think i.m getting way off topic for this thread... lol. However, i am really stoned and could prolly type for days on this subject, so i.ll stop now beforr i start rqmbling... wiz, you got any thoughts qbout th3 cross i was rambling about? My plan is, when i get these and miy kwuurkie dragons stable, return the favor for some of these freebies i.v received from this site. Send them home on a maiden voyage to their ancestors in the "homeland" of the purple wizard...

My duurties didnt branch much at all, but the kola is sweet. 2 outta 4-5 female JEM's branched nicely, and I think Ill get a good yeild. I trimmed those 2 pretty heavily when they were young- dont know if thats why all the branches, or if I got lucky... Another diff was the branched-out ones were in coir, and the straight, tall ones were hydro. From what Ive seen in my very limited experience w/ autos, they seem to love coir. I think Im gonna put my hydro and aero setups away for awhile and concentrate on coir.

I tried to snap a pic of my JEMs to show off their new purple outfits, but damn batteries are dead in the camera. Pretty much par for the course for my luck lately. I must of done something to piss off the karma gods, lol.

It seems no one can sleep these days. I suffer horrible insomnia and last 3 nights were just nightmare - smoke all night and barely fall asleep early in the morning. The worst thing is I'm running out of meds just before Christmas and maybe one of the Duurty girls will be chopped before her time :no: - she is 9 weeks old but still needs 2 more weeks to finish IMO though trichs started to amber yesterday.
I hate chopping my girls earlier but I really need emergency meds :cry: AND I hate more buying street weed :twist:
