Old Reviews Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect

The results are in and its pretty sad actually......
Measured PH
Distilled Water|Tap Water
Reg-4.3 | 7.8
Veg-5.3 | 6.2
Flower1-5.5 | 6.1
Flower2-5.5 | 6.1

Reg- Untouched Water Source
Veg- Full strength veg nutes
Flower1- Full strength Base Nutes Only
Flower2- Full strength Base Nutes & Fox Farm Additives

With these results it shows that there is no uniformity to the nutrient to properly ph balance. The DI water raised the PH by 1.2 while the TAP was lowered by 1.6. I understand the difference is starting PH but they are still not uniform. Checked my ppm with my hydro shop guy and it was between 100-200ppm. I was advised that this is fine to run without needing to RO the water. My only conclusion is that There is no median for them to meet at so its bogus hype imho.

I don't know man, it's not making sense. Sounds like you have the regular Sensi nutes. Does it have written on the bottle pH perfect technology, with the woman? I have been testing mine as of lately every time before feeding it to them. With different additives and mixes. It always bring my pH in the 5.7-5.9 range. Are you mixing it well before taking the reading, also are you bubbling it and taking a reading?

im not bubbling and got it from the same place as you. its got ph perfect all over the bottles.

I remember reading some where they don't guarentee it without ro water and the starting water between 4-8. My well is 8 PPM, actually lower then ro that they sell here at Walmart. That's the only other thing I can think of. Mine is so consistant, never fails. I have used it for 6 months now.

The advanced reps and phone people claim its good with all water under 300ppm and within that range you specified. I ran 10 gallons of veg bubbled overnight in both and got the same response from DI and TAP. In fact the PH moved further towards where it started on both. I will monitor this further once I get my setup completed either today or tomorrow.

btw what is your wells starting ph i think that's where you get the perfect ph from honestly. Add some ph down to your solution to change the starting ph add your nutes and let me know if yours stays consistent. DI ppm range is close to RO so there is no reason why this wouldn't work honestly.

pH of my water is 5-5.5. Also if your bubbling your gonna see a much higher pH. I noticed that my well water bubbled 24 hours will raise to around 7 and when I adder the nutes it would be off. So I quit bubbling and haven't had trouble since.

well that still doesnt explain the ph's going in opposite directions after bubbling. I think your water is close enough to 5.8 that the system has no problem cleeting that out but its not the wonder nutes that other sites have been saying. More power to you but if after this grow I don't see some normality in the ph I will switch to something a LOT cheaper.

Yeah don't blame ya if it's not working for you. I wil do some more testing, like pH'ing down to 4 and up to 8 and trying them out. Even if you do have to pH adjust it's still a great nute line. I have used their non pH Perfect Sensi with great results.

yah im not knocking your method by any means i just think it was designed for water similar to yours specifically. and in theory bubbling should not change the ph since it supposedly auto adjusts itself. Otherwise its able to be swayed by temp also which defeats the purpose. It's a good lineup, but its pricey for what i can get otherwise with other companies if im adjusting the ph anyway. let me know what it does for you. just do one gallon tests on two different ph extremes and let me know what happens. if we are consistent then the answer will be clear lol. oh btw I MISS WELL WATER!!!!!!
