Old Reviews Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect

well so far its a bust. i contacted my local an rep that i actually know by name and was informed you need to use the secondary nutrients as well...... i tested this in ro water recently and still did not have the results claimed by an. the vendor i have is reputable and it is the ph perfect bottles. even with the whole lineup i was told you need to check the ph the same as the old lineup which honestly does me no good. it simply does not work as advertised from my end.

This is not a failure on the part of the nutrients.

Here's what the guys at Advanced Nutrients told me on the phone:

The pH Perfect system is only guaranteed to work with RO water.
It is not guaranteed to work with Fox Farm (or anyone else's) additives.
The base nutrients alone are not the pH Perfect system. The Hobbyist level bundle is also necessary to guarantee pH stability.

Depending on a number of variables you may see stable pH without RO water. You may see stable pH with off-brand additives. You may see stable pH without the hobbyist bundle. But none of that is guaranteed to happen. It's also not guaranteed to work with coco as has already been pointed out. That's no surprise since no two sources of coco coir are exactly the same and coco is so unstable biochemically compared to most hydroponic mediums.

Broke down and just ordered the base G-M-B to see how they work.

Between Jackals grows and all the other stuff i've seen on the net it looks like a winning line for sure.

Hope it works half decent so i don't have to spend more money for a dam ph meter

Recently got my order of the pH Perfect products but unfortunately, the base pH of my rain water is too high, around 9, for them to work. My tap water, at over 10 is even worse. I do have an RO filter but the only place I can install it is in the garage and it will freeze up there. Should have a sample from an artesian well to test soon. I'm hoping that will work. Won't be as convenient but a doable solution for me.

Go to lowes and get a heat trace kit. About 20 bucks. It will keep you from freezing.

I thought about that but it would be difficult to do. It's a 4 stage filter with several 1/4 or 3/8" lines so lots of small stuff to wrap. I'm not too concerned as it's only a temporary situation. I started working on my hydro space yesterday and will install the RO filter there, where freezing won't be an issue. I'll just continue to use up the GO nutes I have and switch over later on.

I love the AN sensigrow and bloom. I dont use the whole setup and substitute bud candy and bloombastic for the rest of the line and do have to make ph adjustments but even with that they are some outstanding nutes espicially since I had to do the same thing with other nutes anyway.

ok already. i want it! when the hell are they gonna be sellin this stuff at our grow shops. my grow store guy says he keeps on trying to get the stuff, but always gets some run around. i would just love to give this stuff a whirl man. i just can't see payin all the shipping costs to get it. i hate being a cheap ass. that's another thing my hydro guy said...i can add 30% cost over my dutch master formulas....on my veg side it would absolutely be worth it for me. i seem to have all the trouble, all the time with ph, on the veggin side only....rising all day, every day on that side. uugggghhhhh.
The video below made me wanna do a little review, as the video shows it in action. I have been using the pH perfect line Sensi Grow & Bloom. Anyone that followed my grows can see it in action and the results I'm getting. It's so simple a caveman can do it! Mix and pour. I didn't pH adjust anything in my grows. My well water comes out at 5.5 and the nutes bring it between 5.7-5.9. I did check the pH in the begining to make sure it's working, it was so consisant that I put my pH meter away. You do not need their whole line like it shows in the video before it works either, just the base nutrients. I do use Bud Candy from them as it's a product I believe works. I would recommend anyone to try these especially new growers. If you can't afford high dollar pH meters just get these nutes. I always hated pH adjusting all my stuff it was time consuming. A true KISS garden. They don't sell it in the US yet. I have been ordering mine from Canada.

The FDA hasn't approved it for sale in the US yet, so only available from Canada. I understand it should be approved in the US soon. I heard somewhere by March. I got mine but unfortunately it won't work in the rain water I use. It's base pH is over 8.5, beyond their recommended range.

Still havent got my order yet :(

Since i'm in canada i thought i would have it kind of quik but no!

Ordered the 5th and company ships on the 9th.
