Old Reviews Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect

I have AN sensi grow and bloom, budcandy, big bud, b-52, overdrive and voodoo juice. I just got the last 4 I have been just using grow and bloom with budcandy.

I wanted to know what is the feeding schedule I should use with my new nutes?

Thanks for any help

What I would advise is to take a look at the nutrient calculator Advanced Nutrients has on their website. Just ignore any of the rows for products you don't have. Use that as a basis but don't just blindly follow it.

So say your plants are "Mature Plants" which the chart says you should give 4mL/L of base nutrients to. My advice would be to start at about half, or 2mL/L. Since you're halving that, halve the supplements too, so instead of 2mL/L give them 1mL/L.

You have to get an eye for reading your plants. It's not hard, you'll get there. If they're doing fine at that dose you can leave it there or dial it up a bit. Just be careful and don't go too much too fast or you'll burn them. On the upside, if you do burn them you know for sure that's too much and that takes some of the guesswork out of it. Not that I recommend burning them or anything, because that's definitely not great for your plants.

The point is that the calculator is a starting point. You are usually going to want to go lighter than it recommends (this is true of any feeding schedule you find anywhere - always start light.) I usually start at half strength, and apply that halving to everything on the schedule that I'm using. It's the proportions of each nutrient in relationship to the other nutrients that is important. Keep those ratios the same, dialing the ratio to water up or down to control the total amount you're feeding.

Understand?

Thanks knowboddy... :thumbs:thats what I have been doing with the grow and bloom with bud candy. so I will just keep doing what im doing

This stuff is like magic! I just mixed up a 2.5g res w/10ml of Grow A/B and it's dead on in SECONDS! I threw all my hydroton in to soak and pH adjust, and it landed back on 5.8 in seconds again! I'm sold...this is my new hydro nute, hands down.

Glad it works good for you low

It won't work with my tap water alone so i have to keep buying distilled and go 1/2 & 1/2 with it before it will work :cuss:

I can't wait to try it out ^_^. I'm just curious about how to adjust the schedule? How any weeks do you take out? Or, do you just play it by eye for when they start to flower and then switch to flower nuts. I'm totally sold on the product just need to understand just a few things about at "Auto-Flower Schedule"?

Use Grow till vertical growth stops, around week 5-6, then switch to Bloom. Half strength seems to be about all auto strains can take. I tried pushing a few to 3/4 but started seeing signs of nute burn. If you're using any other additives, like B-52 or Overdrive, just follow the bottle instructions.

My Auto blueberry is on AN pH perfect 3 part @ half strength Grow & full strength Bloom & Micro & full strength big bud at the mo... & she is loving it!! Mental... I know!!

I'm in DWC though... & under some pretty kickass LEDs... Maybe that's why she is loving the strong nutes... I dunno!! :dance2:

this is 1/4 strength grow now bout to go up a notch they took real good with the 1/4 so hopefully they would be ok. oh and i wanted to know if they would be ok started to get my shade leaves real long deciced to trim a bit hopefully they would be ok thanks fellas

In the future I would recommend you not trim the fan leaves. The energy that is stored in them is utilized by the plant in the last few weeks to fatten up the buds. Trimming or removing them will likely lower your yields.
