Old Reviews Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect

You may not have waited long enough for the readings to stabilize. Sometimes it takes as much as 8-10 minutes.
I think you nailed it Muddy,I DIDN'T wait no where near that long before i took the readings. Live and learn, next feeding i'll remember that. Thanks !

Ok im using promix bx. When i mix my nutes ph is 5.8-6.0. Can i just water with that or do i have to adjust it up to 6.5? Kinda doesn't make sense if i have to adjust ph with ph perfect nutes. Just wanna make sure im doing this right. 1st time using ph perfect. decided to make the switch because i was having ph problems and getting cranky lol.
Thanks

No worries, that's the way I do it. Never once pH adjusted using straight Promix. When mixed, my numbers runs the same as yours.

jackal what good bro..i have a question about the ph for coco..ive heard 5.8 and 6.2..and also that you can treat coco as hydro so that mean you can water more and feed more to your schedule.....thanx bro

Question... has the pH Perfect been working right at 1/2 or 1/4 strenghts? Meaning still dropping RO water to 5.8. I haven't use it yet but have some on the way. It says to use 4ml per liter but most of yall say to use 1/4 or less and at the most 1/2 if your plants can handle it.

It ain't doing it with my seedling feed... But that is @ 1/8th strength... It did however drop it from 7.1 to 6.5pH... In other words the more you can use the more chance there is of it setting at the correct reading.... & no RO... I just use tap water... Starting EC .2/70-80ppm.

typical ph buffer action... :toke: interesting... :smokeit:

Yeah JM... I had to add some... But I must say... Very little ever since!! It seems pretty stable :)

just read through this whole thread.

an ph perfect seems to be perfect -- just a little pricey.

will definitely keep this in mind once i use up all my nutes along with some new soil.

an ph perfect is mostly for hydro? (5.8-6.3)
but also works with soiless (5.8-6.3) / soil? (6.3-6.8)

how does it know that your using soil / soiless (such as promix/ss#4)

perfect ph everytime -- seems like really easy work.
