I purchased a few of these seed packs to compare the auto version to the photo versions. Most everyone at AFN knows I am not the greatest fan of autos but I thought this would be a great opportunity to test the auto version of well known photos. I also was trying to save some electricity and will be placing these ladies outdoors about the start of flowering. It will be well into warm enough during the days in my parts by then and if the night temps are forecast to be too low I will bring them indoors for that night. Anyways, just dropped 3 of each last night and am currently awaiting germination. A little about my setup, these will go into 5 gallon air pots with a 70/30 mix of Promix and perlite, run under 600W MH for the first 30 days or so then it will be 1000W HPS until they are ready to go outdoors or outdoors is ready for them. Nutrients will be Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro and Bloom. That is it with the exception of some pH down and ProTekt for pH up.

:d5: A4 my friend, a pleasure to see you back in action again! I see you have some photo's in another thread as well-- :woohoo1: I will need the time to girder my loins for when the Ladiezz start gettin' phaa-aat!!
Nice choices A4, nothing but praise from the members about them... I have my eye on StarDawg, Tangie-matic and Green Crack!
... I'm looking forward to your cross comparison of the auto and photo' versions, particularly from the standpoint of a grower that's run parent strains previously! :eyebrows:
... Dyna-Grow make fine stuff IMO,... I've been using the Foliage Pro on orchids too- -perfect for them! I really like the 9-3-6 ratio, and the nitrate:ammonium balance, which works beautifully on canna' as well! We used Pro-Tekt for years at the nursery to very good effect,... several of the genus' were very prone to spotting and rotting, and Si helps with this significantly!

Thanks buddy, you are always welcome in my threads. Yep, will be interesting to see how autos have progressed the past few years. Especially interesting to see these as they claim 20+% THC, which I find almost hard to believe but I am going to give the benefit of the doubt. I am keeping my fingers crossed they have bred them that well. The Tangie-matic, I almost bought myself. I grew a ton of those from Crockett and they were all lip smacking delicious. Can't speak to the other two. I had several Green Crack but those went to the fire pit before I was able to harvest during the great scare of 2016, lol. Live to grow another day!

As for the Dyna-Gro, yeah I just started using their products right before I shut down for the bit. I spoke with Dave over there and the guy was super knowledgeable in the horticulture and botany areas, enough so that his knowledge alone convinced me to give them a try. The ultra cheap prices don't hurt at all either. Some of the product I am using now has precipitated out so I ordered a couple of new bottles to arrive tomorrow, a $20 bill + free shipping on amazon can't be beat with a stick for two bottles of nutrients! I like all the micros and macros in one solution, I suppose the downside is precipitation if it isn't used in due time but I can deal with that for the price. Will be real interesting to see how they stand up to my old standard Metrop, which by the way, can't be purchased stateside any longer. The last order I had shipped from the UK and the shipping alone cost me almost as much as the lineup. As much as I loved those nutrients, I just can't justify it.

Anyways, thanks for dropping in. Be well buddy and I always feel obligated to say thanks for everything you have done for me! I won't forget it. I still have several jars of CBD flowers and use them every day. So nice to be off of pharmaceuticals.

:jointman: thanks brudda, I know what's coming, so I'm the grateful one! This could be PPV peep-show good during bloom- .... I was going ask about the CBD stuff, I'd love to see some dry-porn sometime! And I will always be happy to help my friend, your relief is all the thanks I want.. :pighug:

Potency is not so hard to believe anymore, especially with the more deeply worked stuff; Tommy and JayP from Sweet said some of their autos are now down to low single digit % auto genetics, some so close to the parents that they can't really tell; what differences could all be accounted for by single plant variation alone,... Some members have done testing too with results in range of the parent strains or breeder claims... and with testing more and more common and accessible, breeders that lie or over-exaggerate set themselves up to be shamed by actual cummulative results from lab testing! Not that this will stop some of them from doing so anyway, right?

Ah, you got ppt from the FP too, huh? For me, it was cold temps that forced something out of solution, a clear crystalline "sand"; I poured this out, removed the liquid, and added in a bit of hot RO water to redissolve it, and poured it back in,.. it's worked fine twice, no change to the product- .... Amen to the Gospels of Less Expensive nutes! They are so many KISS growers here that get superb results from simple nutes lines, and a couple supplements,... So much of the industry is abusive with their line splitting- :finger: *coughANcough* .....
:dizzy:eye's going wonky now, this Kalishnapple x Sweet Tooth is a vision tweaking strain! :pass:

The photo version is one of my favorite trippy strains. I'm in seed choosing mode, so I'll be watching to see what you do with it :)

:eyebrows: hey brudda,... how have these turned out for you?
