Heres a little tip from my experience under cobs... for the happiest plants in flower i keep my canopy close to 1000 ppfd over the widest area possible. At this point my plants usually pray to the lights and stay healthy with no bleaching of cola tops and vigourous growth

Some of the colas that reach past the canopy a bit hit 1200 or 1300 but keeping them rotated daily will help prevent bleaching and result in nice rock hard colas. Anything around 1500 is too much. Your leaves can wilt and your buds will bleach and begin to open up leaving them less than perfect when dried..

Youll love it when it gets there.... so awesome knowing each part og my plant is in the perfect zone. All the guess work is gone. And it lets you really see to output of your livhts. Check your DIY results

Whats up AFNers.... how is everyone today?

Im finishing up some outside gardening... all the winter produce is out now and the summer is sprouting... olenty of okra popping up... the corn is good and squash, cucumber, and zucchini is exploding now... cant wait to get all these beets properly pickled..

The kids eat the carrots as fast as i can pickem... i love the colors here..

And now a few canna shots.. i know yall are getting tired of the Black Stone but im amazed by this bad ass little plant. Everything about it is spot on and the Green Planet DENSE has produced the hardest flowers i have ever grown.. super frosty and fading now..

From what I've researched, the UVB doesn't increase the trich' density/numbers, but does increase THC content,.. theory is, the THC acts as a protection against the UVB on the (potential) vulnerable forming seeds from DNA damage,... leaves have their own different protection mechanisms, and free radical scavenging,... Wow, she's just now starting to draw down the N like that? Efficient little bugger ain't she..?! You better save that for last on party night, or it'll become a slumber party real fast,...

... and that's not just for the canna, well grown on those carrots and beats. We have not gone for root veg this year. Its the year of the beans, peas and peppers and tomato's, and a surprise turn up from some random potato's.
