Nope, but I'm in a very VERY arid part of the world, my plants would turn to dust if I did that. Ideal humidity for drying bud is 45-60%, perfect situation would be 60*F/60% RH...next crop I dry I'm actually going to put Boveda packs in my box to make them go slowly.
I have the same problem in winter in Michigan. Low humidity. I suggest trimming off the fan leaves with no sugar on them. Then hanging the whole plant to dry. This will slow your drying process down and in return your weed will be smokable allot sooner. If your in a humid situation above 60 humidity you'd want to trim all the sugar leaves off as well and not do a whole plant, instead hang branches or chop nuggets off and have em drying on a mesh drying rack. Summer is different than winter for me. Humidity gets high in the summer here and bone dry in the winter. From one extreme to the next. Lol. Thanks for dehumidifiers and humidifiers you can control humidity easily if needed.I’m in California so it’s dry here, maybe ill try using boveda packs in the box too. This is super unconventional but no better way to learn what happens than a good old experiment.
Awesome, good luck with the dry/cure! Great grow, looking forward to hearing how she smokes in a few weeks, definitely tag me in that post if you do a smoke report.
