Indoor A newbies Grow Journal ... from it's Genesis to it's Rapture

Indeed...... Here's another couple of thousand ventilation words

And this is what it looks like with the ventilation gear INSIDE a grow room.... Rather unsavoury me thinks..... This blasted tent has no top/ceiling vent socks/holes..... Well, at least it was cheap, sort of.....

FANTASTIC!

:bravo:

Huge help.

Hmmm ... back out with the measuring tape to see if there's enough height in the proposed room for 220 tent + external ventilation...

EDIT:
Just noticed in the pics ... do you link two grow tents to the one ventilation system?

Also, for anyone reading ... recommendations for ventilation sizes/rates?

Yes I do, actually come cooler Temps all 3 tents will be linked. I have a 4th room used for vegging, but that one makes do with just some oscillating tower fans and such.

Good Grief! :yoinks:
I said start a journal, not write a book! Four pages in 6.5 hours! :woohoo::d5: Great job getting this grow rolling, Friend! :toke:

edit: We're Fiskar twins!! We got the same trimmers! :woop:
LOL, I use the same, but with orange handles:biggrin:

K.I.S.S ... keep it simple
Yes! Take that list of things you're going to buy, and assign a number to each item.
1) I MUST have this.
Number one on this list should be a desire to grow. Includes seeds, soil, light, ventilation, space, nutes etc.
2) Things I would LIKE to have.
200L air pots:smoking:, carbon filters, CO2 generators, automated light racks. Accurate 8 meter (get one, you'll be glad).
If you're able and willing, take some pics of where you plan to put your tent.

You're doing great, Yozik, have a bit of a :slap:

Hell, not what I pictured. I was thinking cinderblock and unfinished walls:d5:

Or ... maybe ...

It's bigger, but no power sockets in the walls, which would mean having to run longer extensions than the other room, which also has no outlets in the walls.

DEAR DIARY:

Reality sucks.
Word on the grapevine suggests budgets need to be seriously revamped.
Fuck it.

Thankfully, thanks to copious amounts of research, over a long period of time, I have viable, alternative options.

:dammit:

In a way, it's a good thing.
It eliminates some luxuries, and forces a K.I.S.S. ethos.
Also focuses some choices.

Ho hum ... got to keep positive.

We know the feeling!
Take heart, my first grow was in a cobbled together, miserably small space. I had a fan (6" clip on? Maybe a 4") a T5 and a LOT of help from the gurus.
My NL, while it didn't come close to winning, even got a Bom Nom.
High dollar equipment does. not. ensure. success. Fundamentals almost always do.
Make a short list of #1's, and don't break the bank:bighug:Get a grow or two under your belt, then see what fits you:thumbsup:
We'll be here to help, whether you have a $4000 light set up, or a Coleman lantern with a foil reflector!:smoking:
This run should be fun and informative, Friend. Set a budget you like, and that likes you, and have fun!
