as far as the part underneath your name, you can change that to whatever you want it to say after you've been here some time. Like by now, you for sure are able to change it to read whatever you fancy by going under settings, edit profile then look for Custome User Title.

I didn't realize this until a member told me about it as i was wondering why the title changed automaticaly with added rep. but now im "DWC Princess" that will change to Queen once i have more growing years under my belt like King Nelson over here

Good to have u back nelson. I know what u mean about low light conditions and depression... my autos dont like em, and i get depresses when they are upset... nah man... i know what u meant and totally agree... ptsd has some of the same issues.

Thanks for the kind words. I just wanted everyone to know that depression is very real no matter what the cause. Help a friend in this state it is so the right thing to do. A local kid had his funeral for suicide death today what a drag.

It just seemed to me everyone who turned 1,000 posts became an expert. I guess I was just wrong about that. Oh well no harm done I suppose now I know it isn't like that.

The title change isn't just based on number of posts. Days as member & number of reputation points also have to be met/acquired. I still think basing it on the 3 factors is the best way. Just because someone has a lot of posts, doesn't mean they are an expert. Just because someone's been on the site as a member for a long time doesn't mean they know what they are doing. Reputation points are earned quickly for posting relevant/helpful posts. By using a combination of the three, we hope it encourages active helpful posting.

Spels is correct. There are various 'perks' that accompany a promotion. One of them is being able to change your Title to your own custom title.

well quite honestly......i'm here to milk every bit of knowledge that i possibly can from this site and all it's contributors, in turn, if i can add just one tiny piece of info that will help just one person too...then it all seems to work out, for myself at least. the bottom line is...this sites purpose...to learn, share, teach, the art of raising weed...and get some great genetics too! all the rest is just icing.

I am back posting again if any of you didn't know. I suffer from SADS which makes me a little on the depressed side in the low light months. Now that we are getting close to 10 hours of daylight it is lifting again. This might have made me a little sensative to critisism. However I reread this thread and in some ways I understood the point you were all making.

Just had one thing to add. When you read the part under your name about what it says, like master grower and expert grower that seems to change exactly when the number of posts reach a certain point. If posts don't matter then maybe we should take this away and give everyone the same rating or no rating at all or maybe use a different criteria. What do you all think.

As far as the cake goes I think I do my bit. I grow in a style with my perpetual, SOG, bubbly tank that is unique on this site. I am very pleased with the results as I think it is the most productive per sq. ft. style that I have ever tried indoors. I am always doing my recearch to look for the most inexpensive ways to grow. I do my own seed production. My goal is to make breeder packs like Wiz does which is a great idea. I want my breeder packs to be all femmed seeds that way the production will be higher for the growers on this site. I share my technology with the site including my collodal silver production. I answer all the questions asked of me as honestly as I can from my own experience. I amswer all my PM's. I think I do my cake part.

I like to get a little iceing in return why can't I just be honest in return about that. I hope all of you have the best luck growing and you all have a safe and prosperous year safe from any intervention. I hope also marihuana legality issues move forward and I support the legalisation of the stuff we love.
