Good morning all and anybody. I still can not believe that anyone would be interested in my grow, but I certainly appreciate all the advice and suggestions

Today is day 34 for the "60 Day Wonder) I still find it hard to believe how much bud has already formed. View attachment 104449 View attachment 104451 View attachment 104454

I'm thinking I may be having a nute View attachment 104450issue. I noticed some of my fan leaves are doing the "claw". I have to admit the one piece of equipment I need is a ph meter..........I was hoping to get by this grow without it, but I can see I need to know this.......

Here be priveledge, she's plugging along under cfl's

That ain't a main stem.. that's a FUCKING TREE TRUNK!:dance2: Have not said as of yet but, good job on the lst'ing.:peace:

Oh, even if you grab just a cheapo digital pH pen for 19.95, it's 1000 times better than none. And then getting a better (yep, more expensive), reliable one is just important an investment as your lights or proper ventilation.

But still, the plants look real good even with the pH who knows where!
The little priveledge looks spectacular! Is that the light making her look yellow-y or is she wanting a little more N?

Your garden looks cozy! :smokebuds:

:confused:I think it may be the light. They're all cfl's in that cab. I'll bring her upstairs in the sunlight tomorrow and take another shot of her and see:D. As to the ph issue, i think I know what may have burnt up my first attempt. I thought it was nute burn and i flushed her about 30 times but she didn't ever recover. Since it was bagseed, it wasn't too awful, but still it hurt. My pride.....lol
Anyway, as I wait for the ph meter to show up, I bought some ph strips from Wal-mart.....jeez at five bucks for five strips I can see a meter is the only way to go.............I have 3 sources of water, rain, tap or water from the petstore meant for aquariums....well, my first grow I used tap water after letting it sit for 24 hours. Turns out my tap water is 8.4:eek: I know nothing about ph, but I guess that is a wee bit too high so I checked my rain water.......wow, 6.2 ......is'nt that a little low? So I checked my aquarium water and it was 7.0.
Which one would you use? and would you need to "buffer" (I'm learning all kinds of shit.......help, my brains are leaking)

Thanks for the encouragement, everyone. I'm as giddy as teen groping his way through his first feel up. I can see little crystals forming on the buds! Man I can't wait till I can get a real buzz. I hate commercial crap! I just wished I known that it was feasible to grow your own years ago.And with little fear of discovery in my quiet life style, I'm going to make up for lost time.......lol.:D

Thanks for the comment on the garden, Noods, It is actually our first attempt at vegetables in the raised beds. I have found that even though I think i have left lots of room for everything, I was.................wrong. Did you see my purple nuts? well that's what they look like to me.:peace:

With a clean collection system, rain water is best. With my AN Iguana Juice dropping the pH hard, I'd be using the tap water, bubbled for 24 hrs. Fish water? What's that? Distilled? I really never knew you could buy aquarium water. LOL
You can use lemon juice or apple vinegar to lower your pH, Hardwood Ashes, or Baking Soda to raise it. (But I HATE using baking soda. I don't think I will anymore, for that matter. I used it a few months ago as a foliar to kill Powdery Mildew on my plants. So if it's killing THAT stuff, what does it do to the life in my soil??)
There are some good Organic pH+ and pH- out there. From Earth Juice, Canna... Won't hurt your soil and they stay stable. Buffers. With lemon juice, vinegar, the effects aren't that stable.

Yes, I saw your purple "nuts"! :crying:

Well, my 60 day wonder looks like shit.View attachment 105646View attachment 105644View attachment 105645View attachment 105647 After research I have determined I have two problems. Too high a PH, and too little nutrition. My water was at 7.6 according to my test kit. I used lemon juice to lower it down to 6. The runoff was 7. I decided to leave it here for a couple of days, and then try to get it down to 6.8 or 6.5. But I read where Moody suggests to take a little time adjusting Ph as too much too soon can stress the plant.
This morning, I made up some food. I mixed 1 teaspoon of molasses with one teaspoon of Epson salts in a gallon of water. then I added 3 teaspoons of Big Bloom and 2 teaspoons of Tiger Bloom. these are Fox Farm products. The ph of this mixture is 6. I then gave my plant a healthy dose of the food. anybody have any other suggestions?:help: Man, I was hoping for a monster crop........Now I just want to see the finish line.........lol The Priveledge looks ok, but I fed her also with molasses and Epson Salts, which I added 6 teaspoons of Big Bloom, and 3 teaspoons of Grow big. Here is she:
