Slitherly do you have a cal/mag supplement yet? You are gonna need some with that soil. I use ffof also and I start using it around week two. That may be a little early but mine seem to like it. About the lst it will give you more bid sites and the lower limbs get more light that way. You have done an excellent job with your plant. Oh and something else you may want to pick up is some kind of root booster. Autos benefit greatly from using a good root stimulater.

No, payday is tomorrow:D and i will drop by the nursery and pick some up. Calcium and mangnesium and a root stimulator makes sense to me.:thumbs: I re lst'd the branches as they were already pointing back to the light and started her on 1/4 strength nutes.:smoke:

hi slitherly and welcome to afn you say its your first time looking at the pics it looks like you tie girls up every day +rep on the bondage skills she is gona love you for it :toke:
is that a cooltube i see there in pic 3 ? if it is how close do you have it ? looks a long way off for a cooltube as long as heat is not a prob you may want to drop it a bit :smokebuds:

Yes sir, I have a bake a round glass tube I got off Ebay for a few bucks, and hooked it up to my inline duct fan. I wish i could give credit to the guy who came up with the idea, It was in a DIY section of GC Forum, but didn't originate there, but it dropped my temps from over 100 degrees to 80 degrees. I've been wondering if my light was close enough or not, I'll get her closer.........What would be the best distance? Thanks for the suggestion, Stonyhomer and JasL!

Looks great! That LST has been done well, I can imagine you'll get quite a fine yield from her :] Well done so far dude!

Thanks Billy Wu, I liked the way your plant is growing also.
I'm having a little difficulty locating magnesium in the local nurseries, I did find a liquid spray of Calcium which I applied to the leaves as a foliar spray right before the lights went out, But I am not finding magnesium by itself without other ingredients. I think epson salts have it, but should i put epson salt on my baby? If so, how much? Could I get these trace minerals from my tap water if I let the clorine settle out of it? Enquiring minds want to know! lol
And I'm having the same issue with a root stimulant, Can someone please lead me in a direction to find these things........Thanks.............Photos posted tomorrow.

Hi all and anybody..:howdy:.......Day 25 for my "60 day wonder":D I am thinking she looks a little uneven, should I relst? I've given her a folliar feed of calcium before lights out, and will be giving her a teaspoon of Epson salt so she is ready to shoot up!:smoke:
View attachment 101525View attachment 101526View attachment 101527 The last shot is a photofinish strain called Priveledge. Man! It is growing so slow compared to the Autoflower!:( But it was a freebee when i ordered from Single Seed.
I want to try the "Think Different", too bad Dutch Passions wont ship to the USA, but I think I can probably get it from Attitude.......

She looks good slitherly! That'll be a big fat crown of buds before long.

Grow Big Karma for your little Priveledge on the way.. :wiz:

Thanks for the karma, Noods! I am cautiously optimistic that my grow will, this time, be a success! (Knock on wood)
I went back in time and read your entire thread on the RA and ER grow. If i get half the result I will be elated (of course I want twice the result, but who am i kidding)....You've proven that cfl's are all you need to have mass quanities of quality!
I read an interesting article about defoliation. The premise being that by defoliating your plant early on, it results in a compact bush full of buds. I know you had to defoliate and thought that it impacted the final result.
Anyway, I thought I would share the link with you if you want to give it a quick read and see what you think! http://www.aweber.com/t/ARf5C

Hey slitherly, thanks for checking out my thread!

I had to defoliate those two plants because of powdery mildew, or else I wouldn't have done it. The guy in the article talks like a real salesman. And the whole time I was reading it I felt like someone was trying to sell me a vacuum cleaner. Lo and behold... "click here to learn more" and a a "buy me" link...

Anyway, it was an interesting read. Thanks for showing that. I guess the only real way to learn the facts would be to do a side by side. I'm definitely willing to try that with my next round. Thanks a lot for the idea!
