Thanks guys I have always grown in soil so this is a massive change. It took me a while to actually get my finger out and try this. No major problems so far but fingers crossed. I done a complete reservior change on 22/3 as I noticed my ph pen was way out and I had small brown spots developing on the lower couple of leaves on two of my ladies. I also added some cal mag into the water this time as my waters very soft. I have the waters ph at 5.2 and usually need to put a few drops of ph down at the end of the day as it creeps up gradually. My ec is now at 1.7 and I am getting good growth every day. I am a bit worried about my water temp because the reservoir is directly under the light and is sitting at 72 degrees.

Well I don't know jack about hydro, but if you are able to provide it some shade, it should help lower the temp. In general (in nature) a shadow provides a 10 degree difference (F, not C). I know ambient temp will effect it too, but something simple like a box may help out a bit. I'm sure there are better option, but that would be my first attempt.

What is considered to be an optimal res temp? Lol 72 degrees sounds like heaven to me. Lol, I live in Floirda though, so 72 always sounds great. Take care bud.:smoking:

Just looked it up seems the ideal temp for oxygen in the water should be 65 but most people are aiming for between 65 and 75. I was going to move the reservoir completely out the grow area into the shade by extending the pipes. I think I will try using a large white box thanks man.

24/3 day 12 i think two of the plants have got what looks like some nute burn but the plants seem to be growing well ph had risen to 5.8 so added some ph down. I will see how they are doing in the morning.

Looks awesome, u definitely are wynnin. Want to get into dwc myself but just waiting for the funds. Also very envious of the fact you have 60 day lemon. Great start to this thread.

25/3 decided to let them go there is only one plant looking sick and there is massive growth on the others also moved the fan and added light rail.

Ya that looks a bit dodgy, maybe lockout or cal def. Nice thing about hydro is it recovers quickly

Yea mate I think it was my ph being well off I think I was messing with ph down too much as it has settled when I left it alone doesn't help my ph pen was about 1.0 out of calibration. Canna aqua says on the grow schedule to maintain from 5.2 to 6.2 but it also mentions it has ph stabilisation in the nutrients I am thinking it is trying to reach 5.8 and it did last night and was OK this evening so gonna try and maintain this and see what happens.
