Dutch Passion 4xABBs in a scrog under a GN MS0006 rebel

Day 40

Plants are in decent shape all things considered. I spotted what I think might be a P-deficiency so I switched them over to bloom nutes last watering, see pic below. Last feeding consisted of a 1/2 dose of bloom nutes and 1.5 times full dose of cal-mag. Next feeding I think I will add some PK as well. I think I will be watering every 3 days from now on as they looked a bit droopy after 4 days.

I haven't seen any Mg def on the new leaves so far, I hope it will stay that way.

I think this is a P-deficiency, please correct me if I'm wrong.

ABB#2 starting to bud up.

Im really not sure man, Whats the npk ratio on your grow nutes? Im sure you have this already but just incase you dont https://www.autoflower.org/f74/self-diagnose-your-plants-basic-deficiencies-list-11.html
I have been looking at that for a while now and im really not sure.
So your giving cal/mg and grow nutes at over 1/4 strength at this stage yeah?
And your checking your ph?, it may be time to switch to bloom nutes at this stage.

I don't see any picture :(

Really hope this site gets fixed, as I can't see photos. Can you try to upload it maybe using IMGUR and then I might be able to see a photo?

I'm no expert in when to change from Grow to Bloom nutes, but usually I'll keep them on Grow nutes until the pistals start showing. Then I'll swap them to Bloom nutes when the pistals start turning into small postal balls at the top of the plant.

Glad to hear your magnesium issue is now gone. So next grow probably will be much better with more cal/mag earlier, and bloom nutes earlier too. We live and learn but at least we're getting to the bottom of it. If you're recording everything then next time you'll know exactly where to improve things and when. I look forward to seeing how this grow finishes and then watching your next grow and seeing how that compares! :) Should be exciting man.

EDIT: Dirty Budster dude... I can see the pictures now. Weird. Logged out and logged in later and they appeared. Maybe you changed the pics to IMGUR? Anyway, Cool. I can see the plants are definitely looking better. Got the magnesium deficiency under control definitely. This new deficiency I can't honestly say I know what it is 100% percent but I'm pretty damn certain it's lack of Phosphorus, I'd put money on it, especially since you're using Grow nutes still. I'd definitely switch to Bloom nutes asap and up the nutes just a little bit. Also you could give her quarter strength foliar feed of the bloom nutrient daily until the problem has stopped progressing.

The veg nutes are 3-2-3 and the bloom nutes are 3-3-4 so not a huge difference, then there is a separate bottle with PK. I'm not completely sure it's a p-def but I had something very similar looking last grow and was told it was a p-def. At that time it improved when I added some extra PK. Yup, I was feeding veg nutes at around 1/2 strength. I've been checking the pH of the run-off. Last feeding was 6.5 in and around 6.7 out. Todays feeding was 6.5 in and around 6.5-6.6 out.

I switched them over to bloom nutes last feeding 3 days ago and today I fed them with 1/2 dose bloom, added in an additional 1/5 dose of PK and cal-mag at 1.5 times the full dose.

Even though this grow has been kind of rough I learnt a lot and hopefully the next one will go smoother. I keep a spreadsheet for each grow with feeding schedule, any particular deficiencies that showed up and light height. I will definitely add some dolomite lime to the soil next time, I'm hoping that will take care of the first 3 weeks or so. I will also try to get some perlite, I'm thinking somewhere around 1 liter of perlite for each 6.5l pot, is that about right? There is already some perlite in the soil. I'm pretty sure I will do some photos next time as I really want to try the CBD kush from DP. I've never grown photos before so that will be interesting.

The pics are still from my album on here but it seems the problem comes and goes as at the moment I can't see them myself.

Day 46

I think I finally got it stable and the plants are looking pretty good. The only thing is plant #3 in the upper left corner, which is looking a bit rough. I think most of it is older damage but I will keep an eye on it. I bumped the PK to 2/5 last feeding but I still think they're hungry for a bit more PK. This time I think I will lower the bloom nutes to 1/5 and bump the PK to 4/5 and keep the cal-mag at 1.5 times the full dose. Mostly because the cal-mag I'm using contains 2% N and with the 3% N in the bloom nutes I'm afraid it might be a bit too much N for this stage of the grow.

Starting to get a bit smelly in the tent as well. Not very strong yet but it's increasing every day. I think I have 2 blueberry phenos and 2 of the more pine smelling phenos. I prefer the smell and taste of the blueberry one but the pine one has a really nice heavy stone that I quite enjoy.

Light is about 52 cm away or 20.5" from the tops and that seems to be a pretty good distance. I might go a bit closer later in flower but I want to make sure there are no other issues first. The guys at GN said to keep it 6-12" above what is recommended for the standard light.

This is the leaf where I thought it was a p-deficiency. I'm pretty sure now that that's a p-deficiency. It hasn't spread to any other leaves so I think with a slight bump in PK it should be fine.

Finally some early frost on ABB#1, even though it was the most stunted it seems to be the furthest along.

Looking great man. They have really come along now. So that bit of orange purple on the yellow leaf is a p dif. Thanks for that i reckon im just starting to get that little stain on one of mine too good thing i switch to bloom nutes next feed.

Fantastic job!

:Sharing One:

Thanks guys!

Day 48

I'm not sure what's going on with #3, it's looking pale and yellowing compared to the others. I'm not sure if it's hungry or if it's something else?

Last feeding was with 1/5 bloom nutes, 4/5 PK and 1.5 times cal-mag, pH6.5 in and 6.5-6.6 out. According to the Hesi feed schedule a full dose in bloom would be a full dose of bloom nutes plus a full dose of PK so they're getting about a half dose in total at the moment.
