Dutch Passion 4xABBs in a scrog under a GN MS0006 rebel

Good luck with the grow bud, can't wait to see the results that you get with the Rebels:Sharing One:

Thanks sour.b and thanks for stopping by! I also can't wait to see the results. From what I've seen so far it seems 60W of LED does the same job as my 125W CFL.

I'm still contemplating whether to flush the smaller plant or not. I'm thinking it's either a slight nute burn or a pH issue. It's still growing, a bit slower than the others, but the new growth looks healthy so I might wait a few days until it's time for the first watering and perhaps give it a bit more water then. I normally water with 2l per plant and then I get a bit of run-off but I thought I might use 4l for the smaller one to rinse it a bit.

Sounds like a good idea man, if new growth is fine i would leave it and just check the run off ph just to be sure.

Day 14

The issue with the smaller plant, ABB#1, has me somewhat stumped. It's been growing very slowly for the past 2 days so I thought it might be time to do something. As Briain suggested Mg deficiency and the plant looks a bit pale and has developed some brown spots I though it might be cal/mag lock-out due to low pH so I decided to water them so I could check the run-off. The water went in at pH6.6 and came out 6.5-6.6 for all 4 plants. It doesn't look like there is anything wrong with the pH. I flushed ABB#1 with about 5l of water just to see if it makes a difference. Other than that I'm not sure there's much I can do but wait?

I snapped some pictures while I was in the tent.

The other 3 are progressing nicely. I lowered the light 2cm to see how they respond, it's now about 47-48 cm away. It's pretty obvious now that ABB#1 is much smaller and paler than the others.

I'm trying to figure out if there might be something wrong with the soil as ABB#1 might be in soil from a new bag and I plan to use the rest of it for my next grow.

Thats a strange one man. I suspect your right with it being the soil. Or maybe she just wants a bit of cal and mg. She might be a thirsty cal/mg pheno.

Hey dude, subbed up to this one! glad I got in fairly early! congrats on the upgrade bro the rebels should serve you well! hopefully the lagging abb catches up bro :Sharing One:

Thanks Lewb! I think ABB#1 is starting to recover after the flush. I'm still not sure what was wrong but the flush seems to have helped.

ABB#1 is starting to look healthier and started picking up the pace again. It's still a bit pale but I think it will bounce back. The others have grown quite a bit and I thought it was time to put the screen up. I'm running it at 12cm above the soil. I would like to start training them as soon as possible as last grow I had some shoots that never made it above the screen. Things might be different with the LED though, time will tell.
I switched on 4 spots on the light and switched the cycle from 20/4 to 18/6. The light is about 50cm above the screen.

Looking nice and healthy bud! The fun starts when the screen is down  how do you water once things get going? I have to use a funnel with a length of pipe on

Thanks Lewb, I mix the water and nutes in a 10l watering can. Then I pour it over into a small 2l can, which is enough for one plant. I then found a hose that fits over the spout of the smaller can. Then I simply put the hose in the plant that needs watering and pour with the can outside the tent.

When did you start giving them nutes, looking at your smaller plant i would have said she was hugnry for N. I've grown a lot of AKRs and some have needed nutes a few days earlier than others, the earliest i had N deficiency was 10 days, gave her 1ml/L and she was fine within a few days.

Really hard to diagnose the various deficiencies but she's def looking better now so good call on the flush.
