Dutch Passion 4xABBs in a scrog under a GN MS0006 rebel

Yip the smaller plants sometimes look better because they're growing not as fast and not requiring as much nutes. Ah well Dirty Bud roll on the next grow I say. I reckon from what you've learn't from this one, with the more perlite and higher nutes earlier on next time will be much better. See it just takes one thing to change (i.e. new improved more powerful lights) and it can throw everything off. Next time it will be dialled in a bit better. The time after that even more so. Keep taking records and notes and you'll be sorted mate ;)

Hi DB, i see no pictures in that update ?

All the best,

steely.

It seems to be coming and going, they disappear and then they show up again.

Thanks for the encouragement Happy. I guess there's not a whole lot more I can do this grow but let them finish. I just finished mixing the soil for my next grow. I went with ~30% perlite and 2 tablespoons of dolomite lime per 6.5l pot. I will be growing 3xCBD kush and 1xBlueberry. I'm really excited to get that one going. It will also be my first photo grow.

The smell has become really intense over the past couple of weeks. The lovely sweet sweet blueberry aroma hits you in the face as soon as the tent is opened. Last grow I noticed a bit of residual smell after the filter. Not really strong but it would build up over hours and become noticable. Didn't really smell like weed but an odd sort of smell. So for this grow I took the old filter (7 months) and put that on the outlet and bought a new one for the inlet and I have to say it really works. There is zero smell outside the tent now, which I'm really happy with.

I snapped a couple of pics of the main colas today, they have swelled up pretty well. They've also gotten pretty damn sticky.

Nice and fat :)

Still plenty of white pistils so they could go for another 10 days or more.

Shame about the disappearing photos!

All the best,

Thanks steely! I think the early stunting delayed them a bit. I'm hoping to take them down around week 12.

Thanks dude! Last time they turned purple near the end, I will see if these do the same.

The buds still look lovely and frosty DB. Still got a bit of time to put on a bit more weight and mature a bit. I reckon about week 12 is a good guestimate alright. When I was growing a while back I'd generally harvest them slightly early. It's always worth waiting that extra week or two :) I think most of the pot that people get out there is harvest early and people appreciate it if you can provide them with pot that's actually been matured properly. Anyways, I'm keen to grow those Auto Blue Berries one of these days, they look nice. I love buds with a purpley colour.

Hi bro quick question you don't have intake fan to this box??

Day 70

The buds have swelled up a bit more. Especially the side branches have put on a bit of weight. I hope they will finish around 12 weeks as I would like to take them down over the easter weekend. If they're at least close to finishing I might take them down anyway as I really need to get the next grow started.

The past 5 feedings, or a bit over 2 weeks, have been at 4/5 nute strength and I haven't seen any signs of nute burn. I think they could even have taken a full dose. They're definitely hungrier under this light than the old one. I noticed the pH of the run-off dropping over the last couple of weeks. It's around 6.1-6.2 except for #2, which was at 5.9. I'm not sure if it's relevant or not as I will begin flushing in a few days but some days ago I sprinkled some dolomite lime on top of the soil. Has anyone else noticed the pH dropping at the end of the grow? Just curious if this is common or not.

The trichs are mostly cloudy with a few clear ones and the odd amber one.

I have never noticed the soil ph dropping but i rarely check it unless i have a problem. Maybe its the lime but wouldnt that make your ph go up? Looking great by the way really beautiful bud structure, id say its smells pretty good in your tent now dude.
