ok well those pics are from yesterday. i looked at them today and plant #1 is starting to flower. whoop whoop. a little bummed cus its sooooo small. but hopefully it will grow a little more while flowering. right now its about 7 inches on the taller side and about six on the slightly shorter side. so about 13 inches plus the three or so below where i topped it. id say about 16 inches all together so not too bad but was hopin for more. considering its only been four weeks and a few days i think its pretty good. especially considering how i screwed up when i topped it. only had two nodes and when i went to top well the top one i took off half the node and a branch. was using a razor blade(dont remember who recommended that but if ur gonna top dont use a razor blade!!!! scizzors work way better) but overall im happy. cant wait to toke some homegrown. i actually stopped smoking when i started these. decided i wanted my next bowl to be white widow. gonna post a pick in a couple of days.

I'm not familiar w topping autos, may I ask why you would?

i did because i saw some rediculous results when my bro topped his. grew three times as tall on each shoot then anyone of the ones he didnt top. thats why at least i think plant one is so much taller than plant too. when i topped it i took way below the other and it grew more in the week and a half after i topped it then the other grew in the 3 and a half weeks. so i topped the other one and just like the first one its each of its two shoots grew faster than the one shoot ever did. i have one more seed and im gonna plant it right after these finish. im gonna try and top it multiple time and see if it stimulates growth like it did with these.

plant two is really bushing out heres a pick for the side. it has two tops and another two good stems growing off the sides. shes not as tall as my other one but i think she will produce the same colas if not more.

Hey there infamous, hows it going. Nice lookin plants btw. Got a question for ya...

When you topped them, it looks like you cut the main cola's stem. If so, that's not topping my friend. When you top a plant, that means the top will spit into 2 or more colas. Your really just pinching the top leaves off, not cutting the stem.
Here's a pic of my Lowryder #1 that I topped. Notice I still have the cola's and there still taller than the side branch's.

I'm definitely not trying to disrespect you or anything like that, I'm just curious how u went about topping her. Again, nice lookin plants dude.

no worries. no offense takin. this is my first grow so anything i am doing wrong i would definetly like to know. it took me a while but i finally found the video. this is how i topped my plants i just did plant one when it was really small and plant two a little after. when i did plant one it had two nodes and i hacked half the node off so i had to go down to the bottom one. was using a razor blade(some one recomended it not a very smart idea. scizzors are way better) but yeah this is how i did it

by the way your plant is looking redonculous. so sweeeet. may i ask what nutes you are using. as to this point i have only used potting soil and a tiny tiny bit of slow release tomato food. i have the fox farm trio on the way and i finally got my ph buffers yesterday. havent really been monitering the ph. every time i did it was 7.0 and since i didnt have any way to adjust it, it just made me mad.

Well my plants are doing superb. I almost killed plant one by pushing on the stems (cracked right down the middle of the top) but I quickly tie wrapped her back together and she pulled through. Plant one is about 14 inches on one side and 13 inches on her other side with about 23 side branches that are growing buds too. Looking soooo sweet and smelling sweeter. Shes really flowering. Now plant two on the other hand has her two main stems that are about 9 inches each with about ten side branches growing off them that are showing buds. She also has two large side branches below the two main stems because i topped her at the second node instead of the first. Now these large side branches are about six inches or so, showing buds also, with about 3 side branches on each one that are also showing buds. Shes just starting to flower. I think she waited longer to flower because i topped her later. Either way looking good. I think this will be an excellent first grow. All my fellow friends who are growing say that i have a green thumb and that none of thier first grows looked this good. Even some photos they had grown for 9 monthes werent as big as my plant one(if you count both sides) with not nearly as many bud sights. I will be updating pictures tommorrow so until then :peace:

I've gotta say that just because someone got good results from a topped auto isnt relevant. So many pheno types w/ autos that they could have topped what would have been a monster. I've had auto assassins that threw a 1/4oz & I had one throw over 3oz's, all grown the same way & same lites. So I know its possible to get a xlarge pheno, this could've been what you wittnessed. If left alone it could have done better w/out the stress & recovery time. I also had #1super auto that I topped at 3weeks(for space concerns), that I know if not topped would have far exceded the 6+oz's I got. She would've easly thrown a 1/4lb or more. Anyway that's just my 2¢ worth & you can see the before mentioned plants on my profile in there appropreiate albums. Nice plants btw, happy growing...!
