Indoor 2nd Thoughts; Round 2 With THINK DIFFERENT

Thanks Waximus, Do you have a recommendation for a course of AN nutes for hydro? AN has all of those different tiers of bundled products, Hobbyist through Pro? I learned a long time ago that even with the best tools and materials creating great things requires practice and study. Or in other words will the quality of the nutes be lost on me because of my humble growing skills? Sorry for hijacking your thread Bandit. Peace!

We're all here to learn, Jack! The answer to your question might benefit my plant!

Nice looking SCROG Green - as always

Thanks for the hijack permission, Bandit:Sharing One:
So, jackmc, I started out with the AN grow/micro/bloom bundle: http://smile.amazon.com/Advanced-Nu...&keywords=advanced+nutrients+grow+micro+bloom
Then, I added the hobbyist bundle, to get some of the additives. From there, I read/researched and decided to use Bud Factor X, and Final Phase. The bottom line is that each AN additive DOES increase growth/yield, but the results of just using the GMB and hobbyist additives was a significant improvement in my hydro growing. Make no mistake, I'd still shakke my head at the prices of some of the bottles, but they DID earn their keep :) You might want to PM TaNg, as he has a ton of AN nute experience. He might have some input that would be quite valuable for you. And, the "secret" to using the AN nutes?? Start with 1/4 of the instruction dose, and work up to the highest dose your plants will tolerate (for me, it was 3/4 dose). Also, if you choose to go AN, use all AN nutes. The pH perfect technology can have "side effects" if you mix different nute manufacturers.
Best to y'all!

Thanks, fellaz. She's got me feeling a bit uneasy with her slow growth rate, and lack of smell, and I have this voice in the back of my head telling me I must be doing something wrong. I'm just gonna continue on with business as usual, though, because another voice in my head is telling me to stop looking for problems that don't exist! Oh the voices! Someone make 'em stop! LOL!

I'd try not to over think it Bandit. Of course that's like the pot telling the kettle not to over think it. One of the things I like about growing is that I learn more from my mistakes than from my successes. Peace

So true, Jack. So true. I learned a hell of a lot from the mistakes I made during my first grow, and both the mistakes, and the corrections for them is burned into my brain!
She may be growing slowly, but my girl's appetite is still healthy! A couple of weeks ago I had her on a feed, water, dry day, dry day schedule. She out grew that schedule, and I had to remove a dry day. That was sufficient. For while. Got home today, and she is sagging like grandma's breasts!! Today is her feed day, but she hasn't been looking this distressed on her feed days lately, so I'm assuming she's sucking up the nutes at a higher rate. Might have to ramp her up to an every other day feed schedule. I'll know by the day after tomorrow...

"Sagging like Grandmas breasts" LMFAO Good one Green
