so the grand daddy purple is the photo version, i got it from a dispensary here in northern california as a clone. its grown a huge amount since then and will soon be treated with BAP so as to cause more offshoots for cloning purposes, its my mother plant so its growing in 24/0 with the autoflowers.

i included it in this thread simply because it is awesome. however i also will be making an autoflowering gran daddy purple strain with it. i will put onr of the clones i hope to make in a week or so into my new 12/12 flowering cabinet. then ill be treating it with some pollen from a femal plant made with colidal silver. im not sure what strain i would like to mix it with though, i would like to get the closest thing possible to the grand daddy purple photo as possible.

i have:

afghan kush ryder
fast bud #2
maybe purple mazar (turning out to be a very weak strain at seedling stage)
himalayan blue diesel

i really like the compactness of the aafghan kush ryder. the fast bud #2 is suppose to be the fastest autoflower from seed to harvest. the himalay blue diesel is also very small and compact which i love and it has some blue genes in it which could help with color. if anyone has any inputon which of these i should use to make the gdp autoflower chime in.

the female seeds produced from the gdp x auto should be a mix of photo plants and of autoflowering plants. ill take the strongest growing autos that show the most gdp like attributes and cross them to hopefully produce a fully autoflowering strain.

what am i looking for in the gdp?

first off a very strong growing plant
second i want very very purple buds. my gdp has purple stems right now whihc i believe is a good indicator of future color. hopefully this will show in the autos and truly correlate.
3rd i want a high yielding strain
very compact - short
5th gdp is a wonderful giggley strain which i use whenever im feeling depressed. it also really helps stop me from getting so angry when i take my vicodin for my back. so ill be looking for this high. good for depression/ anxiety/ nausea etc. if anyone wants to chime in on what makes gdp unique let me know because i want to be able to sell and trade these seeds some day with other medical users.

thanks for the input! the maxigro origianly worried me because its not organic and its a white powder. however since using it at 1tsp gallon (real high concentration) my autos and my gdp (as well as my lemon skunk) have exploded and look so much better. from my limeted experience i would highly recommed it as a very cheap but very succesful nute to use in the first few weeks of an autos life.

An old friend of mine that I recently discovered has been growing indoors since 1992, He has an Inbred Line of The Big(only inbred twice so far so isn't an IBL yet)and I gave him an Himalayan Blue Diesel male to nurture and then breed them together...

So I would say the HBD would be my recommendation for the auto pollen...

HBD can be small but if you give them root space they will get big, I've had one make almost 5oz(no shit)

awesome loooking plant! ill be using the hbd to fertilize the gdp. the first succesful hbd just got placed in a passive hydro setup and its doing great. the other two i started at the same time still hasnt broke ground

update time!

i havent been updating this too often, ill start updating again. i really wish i had posted when the fast bud #2 started showing sex, i think it was on day 22 from seed but i have no idea. ive taken two clones from the lower branches on the fast bud#2 and im waiting for them to root. so excited to use my silver on one of em. this way i can get seeds (one clone gets silver and is used to pollinate the other clone) and the main plant - which is huge atm is most likely going to be all bud.

BAP time. the fast bud #2 is almost too tall for the cabinet which means bap time! also my photo plants in the cabinet are mothers so ill be drenching them as well. ill post pics of how i make the BAP as soon as im done making it.

im starting the silver on the fast bud #2 clone today, even though it hasnt rooted yet.

I GOT A NEW CLONE YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!! its a photo but since this is my home thread i thought id put it here as well. it is by far the most beautiful plant i have ever seen, Alaskan Thunderfuck. woooot! The roots were so increadibly thjick and healthy when i removed it from the dirt it came in and put it into my hempy bucket. the leafs are a very dark emerald green and are sooo healthy looking. the health and vigour of this plant far exceeds and other ive ever seen in person. ill post pics soon.

the grand daddy purple has already yielded me 12 clones! thats from a 6" clone i bought at a dispensary on 7-12. the clones all have rooting hormone powder on them and then were put in a 1:1:1 coco perlite soil party cup. i really hope they all start rooting soon. the grand daddy is growing so fast its puutting out 3 clones a day right now, but im giving it a break because its looking a little cut up.

the two himalayan blue diesels that broke ground on 7-31 are looking great as is thier older (possible) sister. i put one of the seedlings into the cabinet today in a hempy bucket. when im sure it handled the transfer well the other will go in the hempy as well.

so party clope clones are all gdp except for two fast bud#2. one just got soaked in silver.

the top two plants in the other pic are gdp and alaskan thunderfuck. they both just got soaked in bap.

then the one small plant and seedling along with the seedling in the cup are hbd.

the huge one is fast bud #2. it also was just soaked in bap. its stem is easily as thick as a marker at 1 month. showed sex about a week ago.

updates!

well things have come a long long way.

my fast bud #2's buds are almost done, the breeder claims 7.5 weeks from germination to harvest. well its 55 days old, im going to wait another week or two what do you think? The two branches i pollinated with himalayan blue diesel (male pollen not cs) on the 20th (ish) are very swollen. when i removed a calyx today the seed inside was still green but of full size. maybe another week and they will be done. hoping for at least 100 seeds from the two branches. i would recommend fast bud #2 to anyone with the room for a medium sized plant. if i hadnt taken so many cuttings, used cs, bap and pollenated it i bet it put out two ounces of bud.

one clone from the fb2 is rooted and outside in my aeroponic system. hoping it will produce more this way than if it was left on the plant. of the other two clones 1 died and the other still hasnt rooted.

of 3 hbd seeds that germed i got two awesome males and one awesome female. the two males showed sex earlier and were taller. the two males are identical and very tall. the female was shorter and took a few more days to show sex. the female is soooo compact. i place the female inbetween the males everyday and let em splooooge all over her. yeah its a threesome and she loves it. all of the pistills on her have already died and calyxs are getting swollen. hoping for 200+ seeds off her.

the hbd x hbd is the cross i want the most. the hbd is so perfect for my grow box and the super stealth califlower strain im developing.

hopefully the fast bud 2's very fast maturation will be the only attribute that is expressed in the hbd x fb2 cross. when those seeds are done ill start them, select for fast maturing compact high yielding hbd phenos. the fb2 is too big and the internode spacing is huge, great for outdoor grows but not for what i want the califlower for.

i also pollinated my photo HOG that is outside in my aero system. its a great bushy strain that i think i might use to mix with the fb2xhbd. result: a fast maturing short com[act bush. the hogs leaves are also small and not your typical long fingered pot leaf. my ducks foot is growing and ill soon put it in flower. ill pollinate it with either the fb2xhbd or hbdxhog or a mix of the two depending on how they turn out.

any ideas on a strain with super low odor? as of now the hbd is low odor but im not sure if it will stay that way.

im guessing the fastbud2 needs a week or two not the hbd. do you mean the hbd or fb2?
