New Grower 2nd auto grow.

1st grow could have gone better.

Harvested 6.5 oz from 5 plants . Sensi seeds white label ,super skunk auto, turbo nutter bastard.

I've grown photos before the kids come along, now they sodden off again I can start growing.

My last grow was my 1st soil grow and I messed up, it wasn't light enough, got poor root structure, etc, etc.

So back to hydro, sa me seeds.

Another 1st was poor germination rate. About 50% on tissue paper.

This time I've presoaked, put into a jiffy, into heated propagator.

Wash and presoaked .

And set up thus, so far.

Sensi seeds super skunk auto again.

Funny thing is, my 1st auto grow, I was only expect about an oz a plant, I was only dissapointed once they took off and I saw the missed potential.

Still, a lesson learned. Even if you think you know something,because it's so simple, check first.

A bit of an airy soil last time and I would have had an improved yield.

I only had red cfl bulbs. None of my local hydro shops had any blues.

I went online to order some and...........

Ha, I live in fear of the same thing happening to me everytime I go online! Went on flea bay a few weeks ago to look for a present for my girl's birthday and a few days later, my new vape and an entire selection of new nutes arrived...

Crazy part is I had no money left to buy her anything! True story.... Oh and subbed!

I've really got into vaping the past year. I'd tried a few in the past but always thought they lacked a little something. Then I bought my wife a crafty for Xmas, now we have 4 portables and a sublimator!

I got the Flowermate V5.0 portable. It was half price so I couldn't not. Going to use it to try and get off the baccy

Not tried that one. I gave up fags years ago.

I took up vaping because of the hideous tolerance levels I developed smoking pure joints.

It takes a while to get used to it, but stick at it and a world of taste opens up. Suddenly flavour of the weed is really important. That's the main reason I got back to growing, access to more verities.

So, the mars was due yesterday had didn't turn up, I'll give them a chase tomorrow.

I've got two more seedlings popped. I've also realised an over site regarding temperature.

My space can be massively influenced by outside weather and it's turning a bit colder.

Noticed my res temp was about 16c, so I've invested in an aqurium heater and set it to 24c.

Also invested in a high/low thermometer. I think temperature is gonna be an issue, so I'm planning on ducting the air supply to a heated indoor space rather than outside. A low temp problem in a grow is a first for me, however being a heating /ventilation engineer it's something I'm used to dealing with.

I've not had a need to run the extract yet, so I'll be interested to see what temp 500 watts of cfl does compared to the led (when it arrives).

Oh well I'll put heating in 2moz when I put up my nice shiny led light.
