similar to you i have a 950mmx520mm footprint in me cupboard,have been down the budget/lower mid range leds 4 times now.im on the lookout for a new light again GN 0006 has caught my eye still a few months to wait to release its a bit more upmarket light but im hopefull it will last a bit longer.
depends on budget many will say cobs,they may well be right.can get pre made ones,depends what neck of the woods you in.lots of choice too much choice really

grow northern they had a ms008 years ago,then the hs1 couple of year ago.the telos 0008 has been out for a while now though its a lil over my budget,so trying to hang on a few months if i can till its release.

Nice kit but I see what you mean on price. The smaller next gen will be £340 plus imo.

yep thats the bit that puts me off to.but i been through 2 mars 1 vipar and 1 prakasa light just over 5 years.there are still ms006 knocking about 5 years later,if id have bought one of them back then id have saved money.

Looks like my grow space, I use a 200w (actual) roleadro cob. I find if the plant grows into the light it's ok, if the light is put too close it burns. I attached it as close to the top as possible and then adjust the height of the pot with styrofoam blocks.

I'm 100% interested in these as people seem to be getting great results.
what kind of yield u pulling off of ure grows?

I am so tempted to build my own grow light aswell!!!
I have seen those 50 or 80w led grow lamps for about a 10er each so was thinking of putting maybe 5 50w led lamps under a metal reflector and have a fan blowing on them for heat?? anyone seen these lamps or used them?

I have to keep my plants small, around 24" but just got 2oz off my last chop. I do various strains as well so my small room gets crowded. The plants love the light. My space is 36" X 24"X 42" tall. I use smaller pots and top them or I have to do some super cropping.

that' decent mate I'm still in two minds on what to do lol I've got plenty of time to sort something out for next grow so will do my research.
saying that still am tempted to build my own!!!
