i recently have been using the 50 cent or 1$ recyclable shopping bags they are made of the same material as smart pots just check the tag inside if it says non-woven polypropylene your good. I'll never go back to 5 gallon pails or plastic pots again. Plants look alot healthier and soil dosent compact over time.

Another thing is just don’t purchase Smart Pots. They are way overpriced for what they are. You can purchase fabric pots from greenhouse supply companies in all sizes from 1 liter to 200 gallons. The smaller ones are usually just pennies when purchasing a quantity.

Or just purchase a bolt of weed barrier cloth and drag out the sewing machine and make your own. Pennies a piece.

It seems as though I have revived my horizontal bottle gurl. Because of our intense heat, I am having difficulty keeping her damp. Thus the wilting. Added some support for her also. Still no pop on the vertical bottle gurl. Will add photos of them later when the Sun arrives!
