Mephisto Genetics 2 Deep Dlue C, 2 Sour cracks( title changed first grow)

Hey everybody, I'm new, I don't know what do. Haha anybody seen this before I planted one seed. And I have two sprouts. Never posted a thread hope this works and the picture shows . yesterday the first one sprouted and this morning two were there.

For those just reading this grow starts sorta on page 3. Had DBC mutant at first and changed the title to accommodate the grow. Made newbie mistakes if you want to read page 1-2.

Pic hope it works. Should I cut it? Pull it? Try and save both and separate them? I don't think I can let them grow together. Will be in 5 gallon Hempy.

Hi Nicker and nice to meet you, the last two grows i done have been Deep Blue C and both times the seed gave twins, first time round had twin tap roots and sprouted a tiny single leaved twin that i pulled with a pair of tweezers, second time round only a single tap root showed from the seed but as with you she sprouted a second much smaller twin that i then removed and replanted in the same pot but ended up dying, both of these plants showed a mutation in early growth where they ended up naturally topping themselves and growing multiple colas without the slow down in growth you would get by cutting a plant to get the same results.

The two will battle for dominance and the stronger will end up choking out the weaker of the two, so can either leave them to battle it out naturally or try to gently remove the smaller of the two and replant her to get the chance of two girls from one seed but very likely she will die or be very small and stunted due to a hard start in life.

Thank you for responding spanglish. Can I just pull the smaller one out of the jiffy softly to try not to disturb her sister or should I just cut it if I'm not worried about getting two out of her. Picture was about 30 min ago will be home in a coupe hours. Pretty funny IMO. Possibly over 100% germination rate didn't think that was possible. Haha

Whatever you feel comfortable with, in both my cases the second girl had such a fine root she slid out easy.

Seriously though 125% germ rate. Hahaha who can beat that? Dropped 2 Deep blue C and 2 Sour cracks and boom 5 babies starting. I decided to try and transplant the runt of the twins will let you know if I'm successful. Scared to pull her away...

I went to try and pull her out but can tell that it will pull her sister out with her. So, should I just let them battle and see what happens or should I just cut the younger sprout?

Best leave her then if there is any resistance from her sister, the two i pulled just slid out easy. You can either leave them and see what happens or kill off the weaker twin, i would personally just kill off the lil girl to make sure that her sister dont get slowed down any while trying to gain control.

Thanks you again for taking the time to respond. I think I will just cut the twin but damn it would be interesting to see what would happen. Smart thing would probably be to cut her and let the sister do her thing. Wish I felt like I knew what I was doing and maybe I wouldn't second guess myself. Thanks again for taking the time and listening to me. Lol Nice grows by the way.

I went to check on the twins and they both are going strong. The little sister was actually taller but not as developed. I'm guessing I should cut her as close to the root as possible?
