Thanks Muddy, I'm really pleased with this grow - everything I learned from my first grow has helped a lot (with thanks to you guys). Except I had a disaster this morning - I somehow managed to snap the main cola clean off from one of my ladies; I feel like such a dick but I reckon everyone has accidents at one time or another.

Yep, we've all done something like that at one time or another. You've still got enough time in veg that it should split off and create 2 colas. But it will set it back a bit. Expect it to take about a week longer to finish.

Well it's time for my smoke report from my first grow now they've all had 2-3 weeks to cure. I can't remember exact weights but I got about 7 oz from 8 plants. Really pleased with that for my first ever grow plus I got loads of decent trim and popcorn/under-developed buds for BHO. So far I've yielded approx 1.7g of really nice honey oil with enough trim/rubbish buds to make about the same again.
Right-oh, time for the smoke reports. My main method of ingestion is joints. I also like to get the bong out now and then so I'll do a report for both.
Sweet Seeds Black Jack Auto
The sativa dominance show both in her growth and smoke. She took longer (77 days) and grew taller than her indica dominant counter-parts. Due to her growth and my limited head space, I had to LST her which benefited the other buds. She had 'clawing' issues, possibly due to heat stress because of her height but after researching online, a lot of people see this in sativa dominant plants. A few minor issues aside, she was really easy and a pleasure to grow, 1/4 - 1/2 strength nutes.
The smoke is nice, good smell - lemon all the way, and tastes clean. After a joint I can walk about with a smile on my face, everything seems a bit brighter and happier. After a bong things get a bit busier in my head, my mind starts racing and I start talking shit. Good for getting things done, for example; last week my landlord was coming round so I needed to clean every-fucking-thing etc etc, hit a bong of BJ and before I knew it, 2.5 hours had passed and my jobs were nearly done. Nice relaxing 'come down', no lethargic effects.
Sweet Seeds Cream Caramel
An indica dominant auto, pale (like a white strain) in colour due to her frosty covered calyx's. Nice top cola and secondary buds but her lower bits were under-developed, airy but still glistening with sugar. She finished in 70 days around the middle of her peak I think. She smells subtle, slightly spicy, a hint of citrus and enticing. Like a siren luring you in with her exotic characteristics. Her appearance and scent is slightly misleading in terms of quality, she's not the knockout I was looking for, albeit still a very mind and body relaxing smoke. A tasty, smooth draw from a well-rolled joint would suit a nice underground jazz bar and the peppery aftertaste leaves you craving for food. Lots of food. A hit from the bong is gentle on the chest and good for the soul - you know you've had a hit!
Medium feeder, never went over 1/2 strength.
Himalayan Blue Diesel
I think this is one of Stiche's strains, if not excuse me for my ignorance. Another indica dominant mistress and she shows it in her growth and smoke. Stayed short and bushy and was a medium feeder. I never got her blueberry undertones as she was definitely diesel dominant, which isn't a bad thing because it makes for a tasty smoke and a bit different from the fruity citrus taste of the BJ and CC. In a joint she tasters powerful and like fuel, which sounds odd but it's actually nice. The stone creeps up on you and as you get more relaxed, you sink further into your couch. After hitting the bong, make sure you have your remote, munchies and any other provisions near you.
Shot Adrenaline
This one was a freebee so I didn't really expect much and in honestly, I didn't treat her with the respect she deserved. It's a shame because against all odds, she made me proud. She's a sativa dominant girl but that wasn't reflected in her grow although I reckon that was due to her mistreatment. In the end, she grew big calyx's with a nice smell of berries and pineapple. A nice head fuck of a smoke, good to get stuff done, but not if you want it done well. As an apology to her for being a shit, I might grow another one and give the love I should have done with this one.
BHO
I made some BHO using a honeybee extractor using a combination or trim and popcorn buds from all 4 strains. I yielded about 1.7g from 17g of buds/trim. I can't begin to explain how strong this stuff is, I smoke it in joints, heated up and spread on a skin but it's easy to over do it. There's no way I'll smoke this if I have anything to do...

Just wanted to add; the cure is important. When I first harvested and quick dried a bit (which you've all done eh?) I was a bit disappointed, but after drying and curing, it improves 100% and keeps getting better.

Time for an update on my 2nd grow. I haven't been keeping this diary up to date, mainly because of the fruits from my first grow!!! I'm now on day 50 and things seem to be going fairly well, some of the larger fan leaves are starting to die off and the buds are getting nice and fat, they also seem denser than the buds from my first grow, which is nice.
