New Grower 1st grow: Indoor / 90W + 15W LED / Soil / Sweet Tooth auto

Crisis..

One of them died from calcium deficiency because I reacted too slow.. I had to cut her down in an attempt to rescue some of the THC before all the buds had turned brown. I'm drying a few of them in the oven right now, to see if it works at this point - they are quite sticky from resin..

On a more positive note, then I managed to move the CFLs closer to the reflectors..

Skinny they are and I will move them slightly closer to the lights once I have written this post. Looks like I can get a small fair yield - despite the circumstances - if you look up close..

If not anything, then I' m at least set for next round now, with both ferts, lights, epsom salt and dolomite lime. I had neither when I began this project. Has been a fun adventure tho.

:peace:

It gives a funny high, bubbling, these oven dried buds. But it's hard to judge, because I've been smoking some prototype 7 all weekend, although I'm a bit surprised that it actually works to oven dry buds so immature. I gave them a couple of hours on 45-50C, a hot-air oven. Cheers!

Sorry to hear about the one plant man, like you said it's definitely an adventure and learning experience every day. Is the other one okay now?

Yea, she's alright, standing very tall now, but is not producing much bud you know. Status is this..

I'm looking forward to the next grow, where I will feature proper light, proper fertilizers, proper pH, dolomite lime and proper humidity. These girls were tortured, no wonder they had trouble. Thanks for the response man, despite my failed attempt at new routines.

Shes stretching and reachin brotha. Why dont you try and get those cfl's about 4-6 inches away from your plant. She will love it. Since cfl's dont put off that much heat you can safely do this, making sure there is airflow inthe room, this is one of the benefits of using cfls is the proximity you can allow them to the plant. Along with your led light you should expect almost 2x the bud. Shes purty

Well, the whole structure of the setup is basically attached to the structure of the ceiling, I'm a tad fixed by that. But I hear ya, I'll try to figure something out :) ...It's all about the money in the end you know :)

Cheap plastic light fixture. Small square piece of 2x4. Extension cord. Hook screws.

Drill hole in center of 2x4 . Cut female end off ext cord, run wires through hole in wood. Connect positive to positive terminal on the light fixture and negative to negative. Then bolt down light fixture to wood. Screww in hook screws to opposite side of the light fixture on the wood. Vuala you have a super cheap super versatile way to light your plant that you can hang from your already existing setup safely. Cheers

They would flap around when I run the fan(s), would become a discoteque :) Nah, I have a few plans, but thanks for the advise man.

I have begun to smoke a few of the buds, by oven drying them.. I'm a tad impatient hehe, and impatience has been a problem through most of this grow, so I hope this weed can settle me down a while now, haha.. I won't touch the biggest one, as I have to know the difference between a properly dried one, and the oven dried buds I'm smoking now..

Here's what I'm annihilating right now..

"Iiiiiii like big buds, and I cannot lie!"....

Oh, I misunderstood that song, you say? Well, that's just like your opinion, maaaaaaaaaan :)
