If you draw air from inside of the house with people just breathing you can get more then enough co2. I draw my air from inside. In a bedroom alone overnight from people sleeping the co2 can reach 2000 ppm.
I was shocked at what the ambient air co2 is in my house. In the basement with no one in there my meter registers 1300-2000 as my low and high. In addition, only one person lives here so human co2 isn’t really a factor. One of these days I need to figure out what us causing it since too much in the living area apparently can cause problems.
