Day 14: (12/05/20) Setting up new Water! (Exact Steps of what I did)
Day 14: (12/05/20) Setting up new Water! (Exact Steps of what I did)

I'm going to be making a concentrated nutrient water with 3x the strength that it says on the back of the Megacrop 2 part bag. I got to get the hang of this for mixing up 5 gallon buckets to add to the reservoir. Thanks to @Mañ'O'Green for the suggestion.

Starting Water:
- 3 Gallons
- 7.6 pH
- 101 ppm

Adding Part A Megacrop:
1.5g per Gallon x 3 Gallons x 3 Strength = 1.5x3x3 = 13.5 grams
- 6.5 pH
- 690 ppm

Adding Part B Megacrop:
2.5 per Gallon x 3 Gallons x 3 Strength = 2.5x3x3 = 22.4 grames
- 6.2 pH
- 1700 ppm

Now I'm going to add 1L at a time of this concentrated nutrient mix to a starting dechlorinated tap water of 7.6 pH and 104 ppm.

Base = 104 ppm & 7.6 pH
+1L = 325ppm & 7.1 pH
+1L = 520ppm & 6.9 pH
+1L = 635ppm & 6.7 pH

& finally, I'm adding pH down from Advanced Nutrients to get it to a pH that I like.

End mix was 635 ppm total, (minus ~110 base) = ~525 ppm of Megacrop 2 Part. The pH was 5.9

If you're wondering how I got to using 520 ppm of this stuff, I'm trying to follow along with reddit user Oreck420. I went off his feeding schedule on his thread here . Not sure if it's smart to follow along because my plants aren't as large as his are at the same stage, but it's a baseline & if I do make a mistake, it'll be documented very well. Thank you for checking back in and enjoy the pictures. :)

I should be starting to use the autopots soon right? Not sure if the roots have gotten to the bottom yet or not...
