Sweet Seeds 19 day old auto carmelicious and auto white lsd

So I'm starting a new grow. I accidently put my seeds in a paper towel and used tapped water instead of my purified water. It's been bout 6 hours and I'm at work. It they be safe if I remove them and use my purified water or should I throw them away and start over?

They will be fine, I have done that before.

I rest my soil and recharge for a few weeks in a composter. I would think the soil would need flushed, depending on the nutes you use, salts and chemicals would build up in the soil. There are recharge products available but if you don't have that, you may have to use nutes sooner.
Hey help. So I wanna start my 2nd grow. Can I use the same fox farm soil I had from my 1st grow and use it for my 2nd grow or will all the nutrients be gone already and I have to start with fresh soil?

:yeahthat: All @Rollin_along said and more. I started taking my roots, used dirt and coco dump them in a 45 gallon heavy duty trash can, add water, Pondzyme, an air stone, stir daily and wait a few weeks. What you will wind up with is some beautiful black soil. In addition, if you use perlite it will float to the top where you can scoop it out ready to use again.

Awesome thanks. Yea when I got home I just changed the paper towel I had and used my purified water to germinate and I just threw the old soil away. I had another fresh bag of fox farm soil so I'm all set. Just waiting now for germination to finish now. I put the wet paper tow in a bowl and wrapped it in a black shirt and put it by a small heater to help speed it up. And thanks. Nobody wanted to answer me. I really needed that advice

I use tap water to germinate mine too. i wouldn't worry about it.

Ok so I went to check the seeds.i think I left it to germinate too long. The seeds had popped open in the towel. Can I still plant them? I usually i just see the tail. But the whole thing popped opened. So do I plant them and still put all the way under dirt or do or since the seeds is all the way open. Just plant half way in dirt and apply light? Never had this happened before.

Try to bury the whole thing with the bend where the leaves are just showing at the top of the soil. I would create a hole place in carefully and hold while loosely placing dirt around root and stem. Then water in and put a humidity dome or plastic wrap over the top to keep it moist. If the leaf comes up then remove your dome.

I tried to. I didn't bury it too deep but I did bury the whole thing. I did water it enough so the soil is a bit soft.i don't think I made it tight and when I tried to bury it with a bend.i fell sideways like how it is in the pic. Hope I didn't mess up. I didn't read your message right and totally didn't leave where the leafs are at above the soil. Should I dig it up and rebury it with just the leave part above soil?

They damage easily, I would leave it now and see if it comes up.
