I don't have that many fan leaves lol but I got you,how long do I let them dry for and when I put them in the bags,do I keep it closed or open it up once in a while like when I cure marijuana?
There’s a lot of medicine in them. I let them dry on a drying rack then I bag them in one gallon freezer bags. I usually put two ounces in each bag with a B62 Boveda humidity pack to cure for a month or so. Then if not using right away I take out the B62 and throw it into the freezer until I need it. I find when making my salves I use 2 oz of trim to 16oz of coconut oil for the base.

I normally forget about my shake and it is usually overdried but the humidity packs help to restore the balance, so I don’t normally worry to much about it. You could use the same techniques you currently use for bud but not really necessary. The medicine in your shake will stay good for a long time. Just remember heat and light are your biggest enemies with shake and trim once dried.

This might help your sister out, we have a pretty good thread started here for topicals.

Oh she already know how to make edibles and all that stuff and how to extract it she has a whole cooking book on just cooking with cannabis oil and all that stuff so once I get it to her she wouldn't know what to do

Ok it was just a suggestion in case she had any questions books don’t answer. There are some very knowledgeable people in that post and all are willing to help when needed I also work with a private FB group that only makes medibles and topicals. The problem with book learning with this topic is that the knowledge is changing daily as we learn more and more about this wonderful plant.

Oh yes I know and I will still pass the information along to her I was actually texting her as we speak telling her about how to dry the bud and cure it cuz she didn't understand why I was hanging it and stuff. So she's very interested
