BTW, I had an idea but not sure how it will work. I think BE is pretty strong. It reminds me of the Kool Bloom powder I used to use with GH 6/9. One feeding technique with photos back then was to hit the plant with a Kool Bloom bomb after the stretch. A single watering with a decent amount of PK to help trigger flowering faster. Maybe next time I will try a BE Bomb, to see if it triggers faster flowering on a couple plants next time. Worth a shot. Just a single watering with BE once earlier than normal to see if it kicks things into Flower faster. Good job. Peace, slow

Looks great @lunarman !! Some nice pics too.

Thanks Bro!

Sweet setup ..... now that’s the way to fly @lunarman.

Thank you. The tent environment is getting dialed in now especially with the shift to warmer temps outside.

beautiful pictures and plants @lunarman
GWK gonna put out some big flowers! so many pistils...very well done.

Thanks very much! I can't wait to see GWK frost up. The Mephisto genetics are top shelf. 4 different strains in this grow and all of them are showing so well now.

MC extends veg, but picks up steam fast in Flower. Good work

I was thinking about my last grow and using MC for veg and then AN Bloom for flower and that might have not been a great idea. Makes me wonder if thats why they took so long to ripen and never did get cloudy enough.

What day would you drop that BE Bomb? Around 45?

That would depend on the status of the strain near the time of feeding. Typically a 70 Day strain starts to get fed PK booster around day 35 give or take. So, the concept of the the bomb with photos was to kick flower into gear quicker. Day 45 might be a little late . I would look at one day between 32-35? You know me, I hate putting exact dates on things, I would judge the plant. Autos are different than Photos, their flowering time is shorter. So I would want to try the PK Bomb before you start adding it in as a trigger to stop Veg. That is the issue with MC IMO. Veg time is extended, maybe a single dose of BE will help earlier on? I don't think it will hurt, and maybe we will have to toy with the grams per gal...but I am gonna try it on my next girls. I have some Strawberry Nuggets and Double Grape x Samsquanch OG seedlings, just a few days old. Let's call it day 3 today. So in 30 days, I will revisit this thread and we will try this. Peace, slow
Edit...I just put a reminder on my phone. I am old and forget what day it is. Set for April 26

It would be great if you can get this to work Slow. If it worked before then it might work Green Leaf too. And I'll try it on my next grow too. I'd love to kick start flowering more if possible.

I will give it a try. I have 5 plants on day 3. So we got something to work with in 30 days! I will do it with 3/5 of them.so we can see if it helps, hurts, or does nothing. I think it is all about timing. Green leaf works well. But it extends veg, no doubt. Usually plants are growing fast and right about then is when most plants can take some extra PPMs. I will try 1g per gallon and check the EC. It is only 1 watering, so we want it to be stronger than normal...but not crazy high. A normal mix without BE is about 1.1 EC. I will do the Bomb at 1.3-1.4 EC. I will not reduce anything. We will see what happens!

Yeah, I honestly have not found the ideal BE rate. I feed very often, so I use less per gal but feed way more often than most. BE is strong and in small pots, we feed very frequently. Small doses add up IMO. I am still toying with BE amounts. Until then, I use 2g per 3 gal when I use it. But again, I grow a ton of strains and I have not toyed around enough to be 100% sure on BE application . Good job lunar. Peace, slow

Amazing what HYDRO Guys pull out of small pots, unreal .... In my soil grow the pots weigh a ton, hydro not so much .....

Brother slow I’m on same path as you with the feeds, less per watering but more often - rather than two teaspoons a gallon I’ll do 1/2 teaspoon but more often .....

Peace
OB
