Nice looking sprout ya got there!
I'm not clear on whether you are using a fan for the exhaust but.... As far as exhaust goes I have a single 6 inch 400 CFM fan for my area which is basicly around 5 X 9 ft and 85 inches tall... I would think you are more than adequate with 2 X 4 inchers. Many people use computer fans for their small boxes...
Have you checked out the T5, CFL, LED forum? There are many threads there that could be of use to you....

Thanks man currently I have no fans for exhaust but am looking to get two small fans tommorow. Right know I just have a floor fan forcing air into the box. There is quite a flow leaving the box from the exhaust holes. I will check out some Pc fans tommorow. Thanks again for the help.

Height could become an issue if you veg your plant too long. Depending on the strain, a photo plant can double or triple in size after it's switched to 12/12 lighting to induce flowering. Assuming about 8" for your pot and another 8" for your lights plus some space between the light and plant, that leaves you with about 30" to work with. I would suggest switching it to 12/12 when it's around 10" tall so that you have enough height for it to finish off properly.

Does this setup sound like it will do for a photo plant.

Sounds good. the strain I am led to believe is Afghani #1. Will switching to 12/12 at ten inches still yield me a fair amount of bud.

2012-02-13 19.39.22.jpgWent ahead and transplanted. Soil is ffof. Plant is still in jiffy pot just planted the whole thing in the bigger pot. Is this ok. Also here is a pic of lights and new pot.

:thumbs:looking good...think your headed in right direction.

Quick question. When I transplanted to new pot should I have cut the bottom of the jiffy pot out?

yes im pretty sure...but let one of the experts confirm this

I like your reflector for the lights. What is that a foil roaster pan? Looks like a nice clean setup. Jiffy pots are made to transplant intact-ie. roots can grow through them. I've heard some cut the bottoms out when transplanting.Myself i've used them a ton for tomato/pepper seedlings and now for my new hobby of autos. I water the soil in the cup, then spray the outside of the jiffy cup with water to soften it up-which makes cutting it alot easier. After the pot is damp i use a pair of small sharp scissors and cut a slit down each side, then gently peel it open and even more gently remove the soil ball and transplant it into my main pot. Thats what works for me,hope it helps!
