I’m documenting this run as part of my ongoing AutoWhisperer project, focused specifically on pushing autoflowers to their maximum potential and documenting the results from seed to harvest.

This plant has absolutely exploded over the last few weeks, and I’m documenting the entire journey plant development, lighting, environment and ultimately the final result.

I’m also working toward a 1kg+ dry autoflower goal, and this project is part of that journey.

I’ll keep updating this thread as the grow progresses and share the results here along the way.

For my previous work and regular updates, you can follow the project on Instagram:

On the other side of the coin I asked the misses if I could get a 10x10 an we sacrifice the master bedroom for the smaller one,

The golden line more pounds love did not work this time :rofl:

My boy @GasPlease currently pushes autos the furthest of anyone on site I believe.

He has fully mastered the @420autoflower technique. 420autoflower was (at least to my knowledge) the first guy to put all of these different style training techniques together in order to achieve autoflowers over the 3 pound mark.

He is not currently on our new site since we changed over, but that is because he is not currently growing.

The man himself should be back within a few months :folded_hands:t2:

There are several other growers that also produce massive plants, but I do believe Gas takes the cake at the moment

Too funny. I have a 4x8 in my guest bedroom that essentially dominates the whole room.

Unfortunately, I cannot have anything posted at the moment

Where can I read about the 420autoflower technique bro?

There has never been a full sit down “how to” guide.

He has documented several grows on our old forum site, as well as on his own personal Instagram, and @GasPlease has also done a good job, showcasing it in that gas chamber journal I sent you.

Essentially, it is a combination of hydroponics, combined with roughly a week after you see pre-flower signs, a total leaf strip (schwazz) followed by super cropping at the main stems where necessary, in order to facilitate dropping a scrog net down as close to the base of the plant as you can get it.

From that point, it is essential through stretch to continuously keep the “tops” of all of your branches tucked down underneath the net to break atypical dominance and allow all of your laterals to shoot up and become the main colas that the method is famous for right at the end of you’re going to untuck those tops and let them come up as well.

The 420 auto flower method in involves a lot of hands-on work

Multiple (2-3) full leaf strips throughout the grow plus daily light defoliation, and top site clearing…

Fuck, I’m probably missing some information, but those are the basics, but it’s not as easy as a 123 style guide there is definitely a level of understanding required, and knowing what to look for and how to train the plant

@GasPlease just about to try to break his all-time record doing the style, with a tester genetic he just got as well as some Athena R&D nutrients. (he said he would try to do a better job in this journal describing the technique, but we shall see. :winking_face_with_tongue:)

Gas chime in here. I’m sure I’m missing something.

I forgot to mention the bent coathanger technique.

Around day 14, you are going to use a vent coat hanger to fold the top over

Allowing the side laterals to grow up and form multiple tops

Here is a good example of the coat hanger

Here is a post showing a 3 1/2 hour defoliation

I grow 3 at a time,

Next run I’m going to try this method on 1 of them,

I only use the net to push lats out,

Not to scrog…

This is interesting massive dots connecting in my head,

Between that method an my specific method ive developed,

But I also use autopots an coco

Im a week or two from starting a 420autoflower scrog grow. I already document everything I do to the plant but I’ll be trying to give more of the “why” Im doing things on this run.

Im not aware of anyone pulling it off in autopots but that doesnt mean its impossible.

It seems like it already glad to be here bro thank you!!

Let’s see how we get on next run bro I’d absolutely love to compare notes,

I do 1 aggressive defol when stretch slows down an then pluck a few off here an there daily as it progresses to fatten an ripen,

I don’t defol at all until after that stretch period

Youd have to type out a novel to explain everything. lol. You hit all the basics.

For sure bro. Also glad to help with anything along the way. You can always @ me to grab my attention.

My defol starts at the beginning of stretch and pretty much stops 2 weeks after it ends.
