Depends on a lot of factors, autos need good conditions to produce well outdoors. More than anything variety will play into this, some strains, even under ideal conditions, will only produce an ounce because they are designed to be small.

I was thinking of just dropping them in the off season then letting new vegetation growing up and surrounding them then simply slicing a slit it the bag and tiering transplanting. These would be dropped in assorted areas such as secluded ditch lines, the base of small pines and thorn bushes. The sand bags would be dirtied in a water/black dirt solution. The media would be a supersoil possibly with water holding crystals if in a drier location.

this is a old rednecks way!!!i go in winter dig holes and remove dirt in 5 gallon buckets.i poke a few holes in the backside of a bail of promix---lay bail in hole --backside down--remove plastic on top side.break apart promix with hands...cover with leaves until march.put 4 to 6 autos in 1 hole after im sure they are all females.water very good and recover hole with leaves---feed and water 1 time every 2 weeks all season.the plastic bag in hole holds water until needed.you can also cut up<unused>:tiphat: baby diapers and put in bottom of hole.really works well!!!!-----
That is classic little T..i thinking thats why promix hp id in a back bag..camo. the diaper thing is new to me but makes sense. If ya got a good isolated spot prob dont even have ta dig a hole just punch holes in bottom and side(airpot effect) and pile a bit of brush on it. Bam raised garden bed! Only prob for me...a big bale of promix is what 30k or so. Tough ta carry through the bush fer miles. I try an break my bales of super soil into 1/3 easier to carry in pack. But if its a short hike or flat land id give that a try. Watering not a big issue here. But im gonna try the diaper thing in a grow bag set up i got..the surrounding pines give great cover but the soil is acidic so i wants ta keep me plants up and out. The diaper reservoir should help keep it on the same half asses watering shedule (ie..it hasn't rained in 2 weeks!! Better go feed the garden)

Bales of promix with duct tape straps make it easy to carry on your back plus your hands are free to carry additional gear. I'm going with 5kg coco bricks this year. I hauled out the equivalent of 15 cubic feet of medium in 1 trip (112 gallons)
Ammending with osmocote slow release, gypsum and dol lime for calcium, azomite, and top dressing with EWC. When I hafto water it'll be some epsom salts but mostly growing swamp tubes.

The problem i got with the full bales is that they do not fit in my pack..and as for throwing one on my shoulder an hoofen it...dude think mountain back country deer trails about 3ta 4k, aint gonna work, if it dont bust u the bag will lol. Leave a nice trail of promix.
