Sounds like a deal Mossy!

Certainly under consideration GB...:coffee2:...he has a Fantastic orange grove too..and I need Training...

Hubby says there is a language barrier..although hubbys Spanish is Good..he says the lads Spanish is Different..Rustic...but I expect we can get past it.

As long as he doesn't want it for Wheat.....I Think a well looked after farm field is as attractive as a flower garden..

"MysticMossy" Got a spooky but true one for you JM.

We were waiting to find out the sex of our latest Grand Daughter...(yup..)..son mailed me before they found out and said his wife "Dreamed" that she was having a girl and her name was Olivia.....:coffee2:...

Olive leaf..to Olive farm..to a grand daughter who may be Oliva...do you Think someone is trying to tell me something...?....:crying:

The guy that owns the Planted fields around us has made himself known a couple of times.

They are busy harvesting the broccoli from the field in front of us..so he came and gave hubby 3 heads.

We are Thinking...if we asked him if he wants to Use the big field for crops for a year or two...while we get on setting the paddock area up and build up stock.

First off it gets the field used..so it saves us keeping the weeds down.
Second...he is going to use the agricultural water system..so he will help us fix it..and also..we can Watch how he does it.
Third..if we let him use the field..he might plough the paddock for us...

and fourth..he has all the wholesale farming contacts we need for orange trees/hens etc...

Something to Consider....:coffee2:

Not to mention the importance of growing is going to build your biology up in the soil. It is important to grow crops, even if you don't intend to use them. If he doesn't want to, I would still do a cover crop you can till under to add micros and macros back into the soil. Alfalfa would be good. Add to the biology, keeps the weeds at bay and you can till it under or use it for amending potting mixes. Just food for thought.

All I can say is peas..peas...peas..peas..peas..peas..peas...and More peas A4......:coffee2:...and I do have a pack of green manure heading over from the UK.

I'm busy planning the garden..and until stuff matures I will have spare space..and every spare space will be filled with peas to fix the nitrogen....

JM will tell you...I'm Almost as bad a pea addict as canna addict. I have a Dream about having a field of peas...and eating them all myself....

I just Need to get them set away Yesterday...if you know what I mean.

I've also got my comfrey seeds..for liquid manure and top dressing..I'll save as many nettles as I can to make a nettle patch..and I have our friends Watching the beach..my seaweed bounty normally turns up this time of year..and I'll Need Lots of it.

i like this guy a lot and he'll provide you with a lotta ways as to understanding of utilizing for sustainability in your cycling garden(s). man that looks like a dream to me!beautiful place. as well as you should easily be harvesting local microbe herds each 40 days cycle too.well 25-45 day depending on your earth n soil available but looks like it ,might e almost perfect.

pease are good.... but mic 3 different types and you get WAY more activity and soil building...

say... peas, beans, corn... or sunflowers.... multple root systems and multiple types of fungal / baacterial communities...

that humus video is good!

I was Thinking about growing some alph-alpha for when I get me chickens...:coffee2:..just don't tell hubby..not sure he is ready for the chickens yet...

:wiggle::wiggle::wiggle:

This seems to confirm my suspicion.
Are you a ginger or redhead, Mossy?

What are you trying to say GB.....?.....:firedevil:...

No I'm not..I just got the Ginger Skin off a Mother who was...dodgy celtic genetics...
I actually Tan ginger...:coffee2:...
maybe it is more than skin deep.

Meanwhile back at the ranch.....nothing much was stirring..

We went down the auctions today..I bought my outdoor sink for 10 euros..a deep one to wash me veggies in.

We can stick it up on blocks and reuse the washing water with a bucket instead of a waste pipe.

I got another good blast at the table/chair with the power washer..blew another few yards of old varnish off..and that was about it....:stight:..Lazy Farmer.

I'm sure the forecast is rain tomorrow..so it will probably be a weekend off.

Hubby has started making Noises about the tunnel..I suggested there is nothing to stop us building the frame on the gravelled side of the plot while we are waiting..then just walk it through when the farmer has been..:coffee2:..I'll keep me fingers crossed..but I'm Not holding me breath...

:Cool bud:....digging those orchid cactus bloom Aunty...and what a monster patch it is! ....Green and cream may not be flashy, but I like this combo a lot... The neon colored one I have here is fruiting as well, even pulled one off and sliced it up the other week,.. too soon apparently-- low sugar still, but the smell is unique and delish'-... too bad the fruit roils your guts!
...***... Aunty, thank you for the love and support my friend,... we're doing okay, just grinding some on getting arrangements settled for the Memorial on the 24th,...meetings with the temple Rev.' and funeral home have help get things organized pretty well,...*wheeew*... :coffee2: :help:
