Great progress, Lady Mossy! Always best to get past the solicitors in quick order... lolol
I am inspired to start writing a commemorative song for the Dragon Zen :) No promises of worldwide melody fame... But, the Karma...oh, the Karma.....
some love to you and stone

Meanwhile back on the Ranch.....

I've been Promoted...."pher Wiggle"..first I was only the power washer...then tree pruner...now I'm going to be Trusted with the band sander...

:crying:

Bless him..hubby Likes to do everything himself...BUT...he gets stressed out..chuffs and fluffs and Nothing gets done.

Pitching in and doing everything I Can to Help is my way of spreading the Work...but he is always resistant.

I've power sprayed Most of the old varnish and dirt off the bench table/seats...saved Loads of rubbing down...I Love the power washer...

Tomorrow I go in with the band sander....:jaw:..I've been Trained....

it wasn't quite dry enough today...I only washed it this morning.

Mossy thanks for letting me live viacuriously through your updates! A dream of mine, and your rocking it!

Fingers Crossed...I Hope to yoda.

I could never stomach the pain and fire from eating a chilli but I think I could get one of those caps down! Never heard of chilli Capsules, you got me intrigued.....

You can be first Guinea pig come autumn yoda...:tiphat:..I'm Hoping with Grandma Roody that we will be able to figure out an effective chilli transdermal cream too.
It was one of the only things that worked on my nerve damage.

Trouble was it was very expensive..if we can make out own...Hopefully we can do it Cheaper.

The Active ingredient that We are after in Chillies..is Alkaloids..same as our Beloved Herb.

Dragon holidays! It would be awesome! A week get away on the farm where you can learn the AFN health plan first hand!

You would have to Pee test every morning...:PH Reading..?:..then a 2 Hour Compulsory sea soak to get your Natural magnesium levels up...1 hour on the beach to get your vitD levels up...and Only eat food produced on the farm that we Know is Organic...and of course Compulsory Dragon.....:Drag-On: ..round the camp fire...every night.

Do you Think we can get it on medic-aid....or Obama care....?..coz I can have 3 more of those pre-fab buildings on the land when I can afford them...

Dragon Meds Farm..."pher Wiggle"

That will be awesome! I can see a future for a distributorship in the States for a fine couple I already purchase olive leaf caps from!

Yup..you get me...I Hope Grandma Roody is going to be the US side of it....:coffee2:...all I'm Looking at is can we produce Good Quality supplements that are Cheaper for our med users than the equivalent Swansons gear.
Make the meds more affordable.

A community of olive leaf heads, who would've ever guessed I would have signed on for this?

You know how Well they Work.....squeak..squeak...guinea pig.....:pighug:....

Have a great day....:tiphat:

I am inspired to start writing a commemorative song for the Dragon Zen :)

Ha ha Brilliant Waximus....:coffee2:..the only theme tune I have at the minute is Puff the Magic Dragon....

Tomorrow I go in with the band sander...

wear a respirator mask... or you'll be sorry.
yes, the PW kicks ass!!!

Do you Think we can get it on medic-aid....or Obama care....?

thats just a "slip it in when you're not looking" technique... obamacare is a huge scam on the amrican taxpayer... WE'll see how they plan to collect this tax from me... Cuz I'm not paying it... period. :finger:

Oh I Forgot...:slaps:..don't mention ze Taxes when JM is around...

Last Autumn we got an unseasonable wet autumn.
I saw it coming and chopped the tomatoes down.
I always leave the pots upstairs to dry out a bit before I carry them down.

It rained almost solid for 2 weeks..so I took the spent pots into the conservatory to dry out.

The old toms dropped on the soil sprouted.
I Thought I'd transplant a couple to see if I could get a catch crop.

I Love tomatoes grown through the cold season.

These are the ones I transplanted...up to their first truss....

mossy-albums-dragons-zen-farm-picture412069-dsc0705.jpg

These are the ones I didn't transplant..they have over wintered..but stayed small.

mossy-albums-dragons-zen-farm-picture412068-1aa.jpg

I guess I have about 10 good ones if I start transplanting.

I Love Mother Nature....:coffee2:

I'll be starting the germ on my superhot peppers within the next few days.
Some can take up to a month to pop, so I gotta start early.
Here's a box of heat that I still have to process into powders.

:coffee2: I had the last of my harvest of chillies drying upstairs to rip down to powder when I heard we had the Ranch.
Now they are Seed stock.

I Heard some take a long germ time..the ones I have up to now have been fairly fast.
One of the chilli co's said pre-soak in chamomile water..have you Heard that one before JM...?

Ronin..have you grown the willie chillies...?

We had a really good laugh with them last season...and what about Tabasco....?
They are Really hot little buggers...

JM..go See GA's news in Mod Gossip...."astros Wink wink.."...eeey-I-eeey-I-oooooo.....

Meanwhile back at the Ranch......my career as Top band sander ground to a halt...:slaps:...

That broken orange bit is the switch to pull the rollers together so you can fit the sanding belts and it Broke.

I'll check to see if I can get a spare part....but I don't fancy my chances.

I wouldn't care..but I was Brilliant at it..and it really was making a good job of it.

Ah well....

Our plumber friend come down to check the boiler and he Thinks it is just furred up with it not being used..so Fingers Crossed...:goodluck:..we may have a low cost solution.

hubby took him down to the Ranch to check it out and he says he was gob-smacked at when we got/where we got it/and the fact it has mains water and electric......told you karma must have played a part.

It was overcast today...2nd day since we got it..the cloud burned off by afternoon..so I still got my patio time.

You Proud of me JM..?...:coffee2:..hubby is talking about bringing out the weedkiller for the gravel side of the yard..so I'm out hand picking the nettles to get me first Tea on.....

mossy-albums-dragons-zen-farm-picture412584-dsc0705.jpg

I got the potting shed.....tarped too...just to supress the weed.

I had a little dig and it looks like they have a hard core base with a couple of inches of fine gravel in.
The weeds set in the gravel are those mares tails that break off into segments if you try to pull them up..so it will be easier to cover them up..then rake them out when they are dead.

No point Making Work huh..?...

Not specific to peppers... but chamomile prevents and / or stops damping off diseases...

Cheers JM...useful to know.
Sometimes February can be prone to a bit of dampening off..if I See it now..I'll get them some chamomile tea bags..until I get me own grown.

I planted Lavender seeds.
I've heard they can be a Pain to germinate..but I might as well have a go..to save money.

Lavender is an essential part of the garden..so much so I have splashed my Christmas money on some plug plants already..which I will use as Mothers..but having a couple more varieties from seed would be Nice..if they germ.
