First grow in a such a small cab. Medium is coco 3/4 and MG all purpose compost with added perlite. Have 50w led ufo.

Seeds have been placed between wetted paper towels and put in the airing cupboard to keep warm on 11th April. Checked earier and 1 of seeds was starting to crack. Will be checking on the 14th.

Will add photos and more details soon. Will appreciate any tips, comments and suggestions as this is new experience growing in a small scale for me. Would use my tent for a larger grow but that would cause problems with my other half. Also this my second grow with led.

Thanks for reading.

Was going to suggest trying LEDs if you hadn't, but I see you have those, so good. Lol.
This technique might be useful for you since you are using such a tiny space. Topped right above the second node for 4 tops, and lst'd with wire until the buds began to form and the branches were solid (not going to readjust and point upwards any more than the bud tips already were). It's an AKR - WoS also.

Thanks for the info Hazey, I was thinking on the lines of something similar. Wasn't sure on topping autos but going to it try.

Not sure if topping is a better idea in most cases, but for such a small grow area and led's you'll want some distance between the buds and the lights.. Just figured I'd show ya a little of what a tiny akr could put out bud-wise.

Hazey I was wondering what size pot would be best in your opinion? Im think something less conventional.

Well..The one I posted a pic of was in a 3gal air pot, but as you can see it wasn't filled all the way (didnt account for soil settling with waterings) and then the entire edge got pretty dry for a few inches in throughout the grow causing the rootball to stay really msall, so I am confident that a 1 gallon pot couldve yielded similar, perhaps even better results with proper filling/watering. Was the first time trying a fabric (smart) pot. Usally pouring the water in themidle until it covers the whole top of the pot is enough and then it sinks in, but these pots dry super fast so I recommend watering in a spiral starting at the outside edge working your way in if you use one.

The only thing I can add from my extremely limited amount of experience is, to run your PC grow case with lights and all. To get an idea of where your temps are at before the plants get put in. Though, Im assuming LED's dont give off the heat of a CFL ballast? Not sure. Hope this helps :Sharing One:

Hi Hazey. I've got the day off from work on Wednesday. Im planning a trip to the nearest hydro shop. Only trouble is that I don't drive and its about 15 miles away. I will get a train and it's about a 20 minutes walk from ther station. I will see what they stock, as I need some bits any way. Im also waiting for some free samples. I think the company is US based, but it took my address so hopefully I will get them sooner or later.

Oh nice a digital therm. Thats what I need man. I want to hold of on investing on my cab, outside of the finishing touches. Need to put the money into seeds and soil's/nutes/ better camera to take pics lol.

Was the PC case a full tower that your using? Some of those monsters can be HUGE for a PC case of coarse.
