I haven't used either one, but My 2 cents would be if you can afford the bigger one go for it. i would think that you would get a little more coverage from it being rectangle over the other one being round.. And i apply the tim toolman taylor theory of more power the better lol the price i think is a little high on both, but i havent shopped for led's for a while.
But i found this > Lighthouse Hydro BlackStar Chrome 270w LED Grow Light FSF @ 439$ on sale now >http://www.gothamhydroponics.com/fe...blackstar-chrome-270w-led-grow-light-fsf.html
I think the BS is a little better, but i am only going by price and what they say. thought i would throw that out there at yah. peace

The 120w should be able to handle 2 autos providing there not monsters lol not seen these in action so will be interesting to see how you get on if you get them.

These lights are far too weak for a good yield.

LED lighting is very effective, I have tested 5 different manufacturers fromChina already, all giving quite similar results.

Forget what manufacturers claim, LED is exactly 100% more effective thanHID. That means that the first light, which will consume about 75 W (not 90 or120) is exactly as effective as 150W HID.

The second one consumes 105W what means it is not as strong as A NEW ONE 250W HID. LED lasts almost forever without diminishing effectiveness while HIDshould be changed very quick.

For a decent yield with 2 autos you need at least 360W LED which willconsume 178W. That is comparable with 360W HID, I know it does not exist buttheoretically. LEDS come as 3W from manufacturers. To prevent overheating theyare used at 2W but consume different amount of power depending which wavelenghtof light they serve. I think IR draws only 1,4W, white 2,2w or something likethat.

Youd better grow some more plants in order to have some backup. Only 2sounds very risky for me.

OK, back to LED.

How to get 360W for the same amount of money as greedy resellers sell their120W crap? Buy from China directly. Use Aliexpress and you will win. I havebought a similar one (just for a fill light from the side) for 165$. E27 34WLED grow bulbs cost only 20$ with free shipment.

Chinese manufacturers tend to serve small customers with the same care asbig ones. All of them come from Shenzen. I have contacted many and it was verynice experience. I made some purchasing, they ship almost immediately and DHLdoes the rest. They know what power you use and will supply the correct wiringfor you.

After sale they often ask if everything was OK, offering you new products. Generrallythey are very helpfull and nice.

Helps?

With LEDs, I recommend you look at 3 things:

-Lens angle (are the photons pointed at your plants or pointed 120 degrees away from the canopy at the wall?)
-Watts per square foot (I would recommend 50w/sqft minimum, i.e. a 2x2 grow area should have 200w of lighting over it, etc.)
-Spectrum (are the wavelengths of light designed for cannabis? are they designed for flowering or veg? is there UV supplementation?)

Most LED grow lights now are cannabis specific (SolarFlare/SolarStorm/BlackStar) so spectrum is a matter of personal preference/experimentation. Blackstar and the premium manufacturers use really good lens technology to focus the light, so ultimately I think that's the thing I'd scrutinize the most if I were in the right power range for my square footage. I have a 270w Chrome by BlackStar and will likely never replace it unless I get enough space to run more lights or go back to HPS, which is my personal preference for yield but least favorite for maintenance/temps/stealth.

I'm under the impression the second light listed has 120w actual power draw (I could and have been wrong lol) and working on the basis they could be good lights they could yield 1g+ per watt,I know from previous experience 2 autos grown in 6L pots can give 3oz each from a 120w LED. I would obviously rather recommend using a light which has been tried and tested on here.

You get that from soil? If yes, not many grows will be so succesfull.

Please have in mind that each and every chinese manufacturer gets instant experience from worldwide growers buying their lights. They send them their spectrum that was tested and from now on they know it. When I bought 3 x 360W LEDs I asked them to use the same spectrum as the most professional buyer sends to them. And they did. The spectrum offered looked very nice and carefully chosen.

I bought my first lights in EU to avoid customs clearance. Later I discovered that the same lights are available for a fraction of that money.

Please read what Chinese manufacturer tells you about Made in USA. And see the prices. Even if this lights are bad but they are not at all you get much more watts for your money.

I think its great news the budget lights will have the spectrums that have been developed by the top companies, the more people that grow good weed the better,I have seen some shit come over though but if you look around and choose carefully Direct from China is a great option check out are dedicated thread https://www.autoflower.org/f138/leds-direct-china-15081.html.
We have quite strict rules on links and your has had to be removed I'm afraid,if you can complete a grow diary on site then do a review of said lights we would appreciate it,you can add links there.
I do grow in soil yes and I hate to blow smoke up my arse but I'm kind of being conservative when I say I get a 1GPW from Autos and that's every grow.

i grow 2 autos under 120W of led and i have been getting around 4oz from my plants each grow so it can be done  and iam by no means a experianced grower

Removing my link is only a pitty for people searching for LED info but anyway.

Plagron Lightmix you use as I had just read?

I have bought the same last week, germinated seeds, put them in this mix (RQS Royal Critical and my famous Northern Lights RQS) exactly 7 days ago and I am very disappointed with the size of leaves and overall growth. I use 18l pots and wattered only once with 1-1,5 l water with Hesi Root Complex and Powerzyne both half of recommended amount.

T: 22,6 C, RH : 64%, I run 350 w LED on 70% power so that it takes app.120W. The distance is 80cm.

last two or three days I have started to be concerned a little bit. All 3 NL alos had long issues with removing shells while RC was more succesfull.

Any idea? Is slow growth normal for AF? isnt 4,5 cm over leaves only for the biggest plant ten days from putting seeds to towel a little bit to little?
