Since what kills mites usually doesn’t kill aphids it basically takes an almost daily application of a rotation of shit and we never stay on top of it enough to not have issues! And most beneficial bugs u can buy go dormant above 85-95 degrees so in texas heat they do nothing and pests still multiply! My mom is wanting to plant flowers and shit here just need em planted in force before planting cucumbers!

Meatloaf sounded bomb but i knew mom was trying to finish making her pickles and stuff for the market this Sunday so she wasn’t still making shit last minute on Saturday night! She needs a steady supply of local cucumbers cuz driving 2.5hrs to dallas and back for 1 or 2 boxes at a time is getting old! Why she bought a tent to try indoor cucumbers that would be safe from the crazy heat and bugs here! We don’t have a flower ecosystem here to provide beneficial bugs to keep the pests away!

Any decent restaurant will have a produce supplier. Have them grab you a case of cucumbers

They have to be the little pickling cucumbers! Those aren’t as easy to find! Plenty of produce supply places where she’s gone and their pickling cucumbers are bigger around than full sized ones! She basically has 1 place that contacts her when they come in and she gets first grabs at the smallest sized ones!

In other news my mom guilt tripped the landlord with how much money she was losing buying cucumbers so he is debating on letting us keep the tent setup! If so i will swap to my little 2x4 so mom can use the 4x4 for her cucumbers! Luckily they don’t need light like cannabis does so won’t have to have the electric meter spinning nonstop to keep em lit up! And 12hrs a day is plenty!
