Blue_Dreamer's Perpetual Grow Journal

I bought it on amazon.

I think it was around $40 and I've reversed 4 plants. 1 failed, so I've only gotten pollen off 3. There is probably enough left to do one plant.

I'm a bit heavy handed with it because the first one failed to reverse, so I really soak those F'ers down starting young and until I see plenty of pollen sacks. I think I sprayed my current one 6 times.
Thank you very much! Im using an amazon product as well, just didnt get any luck with CS so im moving on lol!

My plants growing in coco are doing extraordinarily well. I've never grown like that before, and I have to say its interesting. They three 1 gallon containers soak up almost a gallon of water every day when I water. I give them the same formula I put in the hydroponic buckets. I may explore growing using coco in a larger container next.

I've trimmed the 2 Orange Diesel x Stone Dragon pretty small. I like growing in the little 1 gallon pots to try new stuff because you can trim to get a couple of really nice big colas that are super easy to trim and dry.

The Blue Funke I let get a big bigger. It is definitely leggier.

The Blue Microverse x SourHound is getting frosty. I'm not seeing any amber in it yet.

This happened last time with this same cross, the top layer of leaves got crunchy. I think its a little light sensitive. The flowers seem to be fine though, so I'm letting it go because the other plants are happy.

The Blappleberry is absolutely insane. I can not wait to post more pics as it gets bigger. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger. I already trimmed all the lower leaves and flowers out. I'm aiming for about 15 massive colas.

The witness protection is looking a little raggedy. We had a bit of a run-in with the shopvac when I was doing some cleaning. I got distracted and accidentally attacked the plant with it! But, it'll recover in a day or two.

Unless these end up smelling like dogshit or something, I have to say so far I am super impressed with Speedrun's plants.

From my experience, one of the best pros about using coco is that it doesnt take a big container to grow big plants. 3gal pots of coco can grow some monsters!

Dad always said if she's ugly, put a bag over her head.

Marked the branch I wanted to knock up with some electrical tape and got out my STS converted male.

this will be Blue Funke x Runtz.

Blue Funke is Blue Microverse x Sugar Cookies that some dude on reddit traded me.

My method is basically:

I just kinda knock the two flowers together in a somewhat violent fashion in order to spread the pollen around. I end up with a few flowers unintentionally seeded but for the most part using a grocery bag does a good job of keeping it where I want. Just don't do it inside your tent and get seeds in all your other plants.

Haven't cut the Blue Micro x Sour Hound yet. 82 days now. Not seeing any amber yet, and my wife prefers a couch lock type high.

The Witness Protection looking nice. Nice big leaves, solid flowers. Very unique smell.

The Blappleberry. Man, what can I say? This this is just amazing so far. And the smell. OMG. The fucking smell, man. Its musky, funky, berry, maybe a little leather. It smells like grandpa's wallet dipped in mulberry jam. I put a lot of work into trimming and shaping this thing how I wanted it, but I think genetics played a big role too. It has a very nice structure to it.

Everything looking good -

Everything should be wrapped up by Mid-May.

I think next fall when I do another big grow like this, I am going to pick 2 or 3 females to convert to male. I'm excited about the Runtz crosses, but I don't want to grow ALL Runtz crosses next time, you know? And I think it would be interesting to have 2 very different males to cross the same plant with, so I can grow the off spring and compare. I have some Seed Stockers critical XXL seeds, and thats a super nice plant to grow with a heavy limonine flavor, it would make a solid cross for some stuff.
