Hey guys,

First time autoflower grow and starting to see some nice flowering. Still quite a way to go though. Tomorrow will be the start of week 9.

I'm considering trimming my autoflowers to allow more light into the plants. They are looking a little to bushy.

Any tips or advice? Is it a good idea to trim? I have never trimmed before and a little nervous about messing with them too much Attached pics there a 5 plants in a tight spot, maybe overdid it there too.

i would try tucking leaves out of the way if you feel its blocking stuff but they look like they have a little while to go so you don't really want to stunt them
I have been leaf tucking for about two weeks now. It has helped however I'm considering removing just the bottom stuff a lollipopping them a little bit.

I'd worry more about that nutrient def I see on those leaves. Looks like it pull ca/mag/n. Easily correctable now. Tuck the leaves and trim when necessary to get light to the mids.
Thanks for the reply I have noticed the nutrient def, at first I thought it was due to overwatering however I'm realising now I'm in a balancing act.

Issue was that I was feeding them all purpose grow food. I know rookie move. As they started to flower I noticed nitrogen toxicity creeping in because that stuff has to much nitrogen for flowering stage.

Currently I'm just flushing them with water to clear that issue but in a couple of days I will begin giving them proper bloom feed. I just don't want to yet because I want to flush the extra nitrogen.

Posting an update. So I decided to trim just a little bit but taking advice and not wanting to stunt them I just took the stuff from the bottom. Hopefully it will help the plants direct all their energy towards the upper canopy without taking so much it will cause damage.

What Bloom products are you feeding?
All purpose is okay I don't think you have to flush because I didn't see any burn on those leafs.

Looks good.... for your next run try rain science grow bags they will air prune the roots far batter than the plastic ones.
