New Grower What is happening with this Seedling?

Hey fellow stoners, I hope everyone is having a great day..This is my 1st grow and ived had all my seeds germinate and that cool but for some reason one of my seedlings had the shell stuck for about two days after it surfaced and not the fan leaves are a tan color and they are quite small...Im not sure whats going on with her please help..

That would be the plants cotyledon..think egg yolk for a chicken ,reserve food storage. I think maybe the helmet stay on to long and discolored it?..if you have a seed cover that is having trouble falling off, you can spray mist it or dap some water on helmet to soften it up, and then carefully nudge it off with a toothpick.

yea i left the shell for like two days , but even so they didnt form...is this seedling dead or should i give some more time?
 
Not too unusual. Mist the shell with water a couple times, and gently... very gently remove shell. There is also a membrane that may hold things together too, gently remove. Bet I've had half a dozen come up wearing their helmets this year.

yes that is what i did yesterday...it has no shell or membrane ..the two true leaves are growing good but the cotyledons are not and they are
a tan color
