Hi, I know I’ve posted a few times about my plants - being my first grow I think I’m a bit paranoid! But I have another worry lol!
Problem:
Over night leaves have started to either wilt or droop, have I over or under watered them, or is it something else?

Medium/grow method: Biobizz light mix

Feed: and supplements used: in week 4: .5ml cal/mag, 2ml fish mix, .5ml silicone (all per litre). Watering 1litre a day at the moment.

water source: tap water (stood for 24hrs

Strain/age: 2Fast2Vast age is 25days

light used: Meizhi 600w reflector LED

Climate: RH65% temp between 26c and 29c

Additional info: was nice and perky yesterday morning, looked a little tired last night when I watered and this morning she looks like this:

If you're giving 1 litre per day at that size, it's most likely over watering . The symptoms to over watering and underwatering are similar (droopy leaves)
I'd give it a day off and look at her tommorow!

:d5:

i'd concur with blue sleeper. had a 28 day old plant show similar signs - turned out she's a lighter drinker than others in the tent. no watering for 48 hours just a couple of gentle mists and problem solved.

Thanks, I’ll give her a day off. I have a Critical Express in the same tent, 2 days younger, who only gets 600ml a day and although she’s a bit smaller and more dense, is very perky and prays to the lights.
I never have any run off when I water. They’re in 11L fabric pots.

Thanks, I’ve never misted her before .... I do have a spray gun thing for it though - how much should I spray?

i tend to spray them until the water weighs down the leaves....most of the time though on occasion I'll just lightly mist them - i'm trying to mimic nature to a certain degree.

Biobizz lite mix is soil correct? Not coco? If so daily watering is way too much. When running soil every other day or every third is usually more than enough.
Coco has no nutrition in it, and breaths exceptionally well, so feeds are needed more often to keep the same moisture level and nutrition values.
Treat soil like coco and plants will drown.

Advantages of coco. You can push plants harder. If you run into problems, flush and reset.
Soil grows great weed, just needs less water, and much less feed.

Nug run I dump 300 in nutes a run when running coco.
Seed run or just looking for a more of a life... soil, cut that by 80%.

Coco I can't leave. Feed twice a day. Miss and I have a mess.

Yes it is soil but very light in nutrients, hence the name. The top 1-2cm of soil is normally bone dry in 24hrs which is why I’ve been watering everyday, I never get any run off. I’ll hold off watering for a day and see if she perks up at all.

I'm switching back to soil @ the end of the month, I need a bit of a break. It's not quite 6am here. An hour past the first feed. Gonna do a little sleeping in next round.

How big are your pots? Maybe I missed it.

I grow in 3gallon and 2 gallon pots. At the age of yours watering every 2-3 days with about 1L should be good but essentially I allow the top soil to dry out and usually check beneath the top layer for moisture.

When the plant doesn't have enough water you will know because your soil will be bone dry. I have not had a plant that was under watered and not have dry soil. Also, they usually recover in an hour or less if they were starved.
