yes, what you would have to decide is whether it's worth it or not to do it that way. Whats happens is all three tanks will share all the water. So you increase the nutes needed by 3 times. *in hydro...

If you can raise a 40 L rez even a few inches above the other, you can use a 10 dollar float valve (kinda like a toilet valve) and just top off with water.
