Would like your thoughts on my latest idea --
Tropical Winter Guerilla Grow!!

I'm in the city, have to keep it real easy and low key.

4 or 5 pots x 1.2 L = 1/3 gal.
I soak and germ the seeds first, then into the pots.
Each pot gets 2 auto fem seeds, plus 2 photo reg seeds.
Will be from same stock as last time:
Sweet Seeds -- Auto Dark Devil, Auto Cream Mandarine XL, Auto Jack 47
Fast Buds -- Auto Green Crack, Auto G14, Auto C4-matic
Dutch Passion -- Auto Mazar
Ministry of Cannabis -- Auto Blue Amnesia
Mandala -- photo reg Safari Mix hybrids, from my faster Afghani / Indica pheno

Pots are just straight potting mix, maybe some crushed egg shells for Ca.
They sit on the south facing window box until they get a couple of sets of leaves.
Maybe when they throw the 3rd set, 5 pointer leaves, maybe 10cm = 4" tall.

Then I take them down by the river, and find a place to put them.
Put each pot in a different place, minimize losses.
Visit very seldom, only if long period of no rain.

Grow through Nov / Dec / Jan, light hours minimum of 10/14.
Temps, low of maybe 10-12 C, high of maybe 20+ C.
Should be okay. It's winter, but this is sub/tropical location.
Rainfall, maybe about 100mm / month = 4".
Can be fairly humid, but not as crazy as my last location (OMG)
If I can, drop in some high PK pellet slow release nutes when they go out to the river.

Because 4 seeds / pot, if one or two die / fail, no prob.
If 3 or 4 all okay, can cull out the smallest, pref the photos, cos they're reg.
Leave 1 or maybe 2 plants / pot.

Little pots, little plants, maybe get a couple of plants through to maturity, if lucky.
1/2 oz on a nice top bud should be possible.

Though.... last grow I did 8 plants, thinking I'd harvest one or two. Got all eight.

Do you do something for drainage in the pots?

I usually put a little coco mat at the bottom of the pot. But don't have any at this time. Could buy.
Drainage ... my last location was extremely wet, at a wet time of the year.
This place is not as wet as that, but still quite wet.
Local climate reports state monthly rainfall about 70-80 mm / per for Nov, Dec, Jan. = about 3".
Which is probably enough naturally.
So I'm not planning on making any special plans.
(Last place was about 3 - 4 times that amount of water during my grow.)

Sunshine per day, climate reports state about 50% more than last location.
Though, still not very sunny. Last location was extremely cloudy / misty.

Are you thinking something in particular?

A slightly bigger pot would of course be better.
But... even getting these plants from house to garden is tough.
I'm literally in the middle of the city. People everywhere.

The 4 seeds per pot is because I can have failures and cull.
If 3 or 4 actually grow, around week two or three, I'll cull down to 2 plants.
Even with two plants, if both make it week 4 or so, can cull again to 1 plant.

It would be a perfect place to scatter sow a bunch of regular photo seeds, all around the local river bank gardens.
Wish I had like 1000s of seeds to do that.

I just have maybe ... 50 of my two Mandala Safari crosses, most are Afghani/Indica pheno, fewer are more hybrid types.

I may just do this, actually. Hanging on to these seeds is a bit pointless otherwise.
