Thanks bro,its good smoke. I was suprised. it was SUPER tangy in its stink but I tried to get rid of a solid amount of it sdo it didnt permeate the strain or flowers and it worked.got a nice balance of sweet and cheesy stinky taste.very nice indeed.

well got three ounces in less than 80 days. more like 70 maybe. tastes great actually. has a very distinct cheesey oily protien taste to it. very good with a mellow candy sweetness underlying in the smoke. very nice and is curing up well. Have smoked many bowls out of it already testing it so technically I got a bit OVER three ounces.soooo.Thank you again!! its good smoke :)

Cotton Bud - day 137

There is mold in the core of most buds. RH in the tent is 50-55%.

I cannot take the chance on using any of this plant, neither I dare to smoke the sample bud. I wish @budelee better luck.

Looking in my seed boxes, I can only find Diesel seeds atm, but I should have another CB seed if I can find it. Possibly I could do another some time.

Make it two, Ribbzzy! :pass:

This is indoors, under better RH than ever! After COB RH 50-60%. Before COB RH 70-80. I've nevet had so good flowering conditions before and I never had a weed rot indoors.

I haven't destroyed her yet. I really wanted to cut off useful pieces, but it is risky. An unidentified mold may be toxic. If it was a horrible cheese strain, I guess mold just add to the putrid taste...

I did a new examination yesteday and will again today. But when darkness come, I must do the painful work of killing, dismembering and hiding the corpse in black bags for disposal.

Does these observations give any cues.
1. Cotton Bud and my FB Crystal Meth: they did not slowly eat their leaves, but just sucked the water out, leaving crisp.
2. Diesel eats herself in the way we use to see it.

None of my other plants have shut them selves down like the two mentioned in 1. @StickMan, have you seen the prob. before?

Interesting observation. A couple of years back, I had a white widow from Vision Seeds that had mould, and she did exactly as you've described in number 1. Sucked the water out, leaving crisp leaves. I'm keeping a keen eye out

Yes I have seen this before on some strains with the sugar leaves. Is it just the sugar leaves coming out of the flowers, or all of the leaves?

Very sorry to hear about the mold!

Peace

Just cut down my 80 days Auto Limonade on the balcony - full of bud rot. I guess the mold found in Cotton Bud originates from outdoors. We have a terrible weather - all Copehagen suffers from the spell of The Mold.

Sorry to hear that my friend. I will have to see how my other Danish brothers are fairing with the mold this year.

For me, this has been the year of the hermies. Only had one before in hundreds of plants. This year, many. Just found one in one of my creations. Fuck, is all I can say for both of us.

Peace
