Cotton Bud & Diesel - Day 103

They have been on plain water for 14 days. Degree of amber trichs: 3%.
Diesel still grows thick white pistils on its many foxtails. The colour is still quite heathy green, so there is obviously still plenty of food in the system.
In the product description, Zamnesia suggests Diesel takes 8 weeks and Cotton Bud 5-7 weeks. 103 days equals 14.7 weeks.

What are your thoughs? I can grow great plants, but when it comes to harvest, I feel very insecure in my desicions. Time vs trichs? Is the foxtailing good or bad?

I don't trust the force.
I have a tendency to chop to early. Going to microscope again now. One would think 15 weeks for an 8-week strain should be enough...

I would think so... I have been going by tric as well but I've had a couple now that looked clearly finished, leaves leached, stopped drinking as much etc. with very little to no amber at all. I did this on my second grow and pushed one of the plants to hemie waiting for the amber... the stop drinking is another I look for, when they slow up on the drinking that has to be a another sign of nearly done.

Trichs still mostly clear.
Both plants are still drinking plenty and judging from the colour there is plenty of food around.
They shound go yellow before I chop, don't you think?

if they are still going I would leave them some more time. There are so many variables that can effect the plants inna clocks that I think with time and plenty of experience these decisions become that lot easy to make... with a little bit of the force.
